  1. Our local council has a day each year where they invite local business who want to get on the approved list. It's all rather jolly lots of networking box ticking . The firms I know that went never received any work out of it same old firms doing it for peanuts.
  2. Start stuffing envelopes with 50£ notes
  3. Do you leave the bottles in the frame.
  4. So your going to put chip in a plastic container and dry it please explain???
  5. How do you store wood hip in ibcs?
  6. Which firm did you use that stack two high???
  7. How do you keep stocked if you do 27 containers a week?
  8. No drivers I know will double stack them as they would need 1000straps. Curtain siders command to high a rate. My uncle bought me back 26 from Scotland as they were only 3£ each begged him to double up point blank refused. Don't see how it's viable for you to get them unless the transport is subsidised its cheaper for us to buy local at 25£ than get them for next to nothing and transport them.
  9. Do you buy it in ready split
  10. How are you going to get 52 on an artic?
  11. A good operator would of split it so the bottom billets were of good size then the two over size ones back through to split four times that looks like a good machine let down by a crap operator & video. Billets dry quicker bundles take less room and can be cut to size and are Easter to keep dry
  12. I know snooker got him to a point in his life where he could afford various vices & they took over it's a shame. I've spoke to a veiw people that have read the book and all though they say it's good but a little dramatised.
  13. Jimmy is a legend in more ways than one.
  14. Pipe yes & the feckin dog loves slippers aswell as rock ports handbags sheepskin coats ( guests ) and the best one was retrieving his ball from under a chest if draws he chewed his way to it.
  15. Only really started following it today Jon but me brother reckons he's on top form must have some good tack to cram them nerves:lol:
  16. When I get my teeth done in the new year I've promised the Mrs I'm going to rain it in a bit, I've always liked snooker playing & watching my old man use to have a table so grew up with him & his friends playing most weekends. Thinking of taking up golf as well.
  17. It's either a posch split master or bindenberger Giant the latter been the best but hugely expensive there is a used 40 t wood line on ebay that's hardly been used for 5 k
  18. How much can you fit in it your whole supply for the season.
  19. Looks like Robertson is going to take it. They seem to both be missing shots nerves me thinks
  20. I'm afraid they don't think like me & you to them it's an instant road block for Pursuing police cars.
  21. Things seemed to have slowed down a little hopefully the web site fellow firewood merchant is sorting for me will pick things up again.
  22. Premiums go up when insurance company's loose money some one that's not insured will not affect premiums. If he I joys it who cares?
  23. The only down fall I can see us there going to have to be put through a tumbler to get the saw dust and bits out of them. But otherwise a great machine.
  24. I've not gone forward with my instillation for a number of reasons. The foremost been there's a firm on the horizon doing what log pro set out to do its good setup with a good product. As the guy is a friend they don't want to take all the RHI either. The other been the fact I'm not going to get it sorted by Jan1st so I may as well sit back & see what develops.
  25. I'm not asking for in depth analysis John. How long does a cycle take for drying firewood? No real interest in chip as it's not our thing.
