    Dog dilema

Would definately go with the dogs dead story its difficlt when people are mentally ill the dogs dead is the easiest option
  2. True safety is always first I think I am going to have to do just that.Any recomendations as to which ones keep you cooler in the summer?
  3. See now thats what confused me I fit into a size small in the hi flex c type!never tried the xs but would imagine they would be too small but not the husqy ?the husqy were dropping straight off me had to wear a belt wich was horrible with them my local stockist doesnt keep a lot of stock in store infact he only stocks husqy I was going to ring forest park and garden as they are the next closest to me and see what they had there but I doubt they would have much small on the shelf either in different makes but may give them a ring to check anyway.I have never tried the Pfanner before do they keep you cooler than the hi flex in the heat?
  4. If your not sure which route your intending on taking why not give trust insurance a ring and have a chat I found them very helpfull they will explain what their cover is for and what policy you would need for what .Good luck with whatever you do and hope you manage to get the work you want
  5. I have been looking at chestnut fencing as will be putting in new fencing (our old ones are snapping like crazy you only have to lean again the softwood one's we bought at countrywide tops are still good but bottoms completely rotten been in the ground 5-6yrs tops )so may just give you a ring in about a months time have noted your number as will be shopping around for prices we are looking for 8ft stakes this thread has made very interesting reading

I had a pair of Husqvarna Pro Tech Trousers size small but they was way too big on the waist for me I can see their waist was supposed to be 30-32 waist im a size 8 most of the time very rarely get into a 10 when I realised they did not fit I just bought some hi flex in a size small and they fitted me fine but im due for some new trousers now can anyone please advise me what other trousers are on the market that are likely to fit me ?I dont want to be ordering trousers only to find they are too big again and would like to try some others so if anyone can recomend any that would be great thanks
  7. I was always told the seed had to be in contact with the host tree and bird poo and that combination would enable it to germinate successfully and they always thrive on fruit tree's I have a hawthorn opposite ours on the river bank that I think I spotted some on this winter normally I would not see much around here locally but then that's probably due to it all getting picked

  9. I quit in 2002 I smoked for 7 years quiet heavily I found the easiet way to quit was to stay away from the people who smoked around me I just stopped like that after about two weeks I was ok to be around them whilst they smoked everyone was offering me cigarettes when I took a break at work that's the hardest part, just kept saying no thanks its best thing I ever done cant stand the smell of it either now.Good luck with it once you get past that certain point you know you will be good your lungs repair theirselves pretty quickly so I was told by a friend who is a paramedic so your doing the right thing:thumbup1:
  10. I agree with the blokie at forest park and gardens recommended the komet butterfly I get along fine with mine find it quiet comfortable:001_smile: but told they are not too comfy for the men lol
  11. Thanks everyone your input has been very helpful I will look into it soon
  12. It could be a faulty appliance e.g freezer if you seal has gone ?or if you have something plugged in that's faulty that should have like a 3 amp fuse that has a 13 amp instead possibly I only know this because my electric jumped from £60 pm to £112 thought I had started to supply half the street turns out its my chest freezer seal that's gone and caused the hike not impressed plus I had heat lamps on through December for poultry so I assumed it was just that but soon realised it was not when January came around definitely get it checked something sounds wrong there
  13. I hate call centers full stop no reason for any of them to be calling me so as soon as I get a call I do the whole ...um I am sorry I cant hear you hello, hello ,hello ?sorry if theres somebody there it must be a bad line I cant hear you ...and basically you find after a few minutes they soon realise your wasting their time and they hang up and don't bother again most people know my mobile and if its important they will either ring msg or send a letter or e mail nothing worse than scammers though I registered all my elderly relatives with the tps service but they still get the odd calls I just tell them to hang up on them and don't give any info over the phone
  14. Thanks everyone I think your right being home wont help I think I should look in to potential places to take time out to do it and work out just how much time I can devote to it so I can decide what to go for thanks for the info on what courses and where they are I will have to give them a ring and make enquiries. I think its either gonna be that or drop a weekday working and work a Sat instead and use the weekday for the course but then would still have school holidays with kids to work around and to try to focus I seriously think getting a workshop/office and migrating to the garden may be the answer as long as they don't follow me out there lol I will do a timetable its been a few years since I done the last long term course that was two years and I managed great then but that was before I had kids. I loved being back in college when I done my tickets it was fantastic to be out in the woods away from it all and learning thats what frustrates me the most is I want to learn more but every time I walk in the front door I step back into mum/wife mode and don't seem to get much time to do much else I even bought a scooba to clean my floors and hired an ironing lady to try and create more time for me its worked a little but I could do with more lol.anyway im rambling on a bit thanks for the advice much appreciated
  15. I really want to do a course get more understanding of stuff but have no idea how I would focus with two kids being a full time mum as well as self employed doing what I do fitting my jobs in around the kids, hubby, family and housework etc there is never enough time in the day as it is. I would love to be able to do a course online but how and what is the best way to focus on it when your surrounded by family distractions?feel like I should just buy a workshop and turn it into an outdoor living office/summer house so I can shut myself away from it all lol also what courses are available online ,any recommendations?
  16. Good luck :thumbup1:wish I had an oppurtunity to do somthing similar
  17. Nice tat Thats the sort of thing im looking for like Robarb has with the roots as well as the crown possibly wider on the crownto stretch across the lower back but in a similar style like the second tattoo wich looks similar to the one I spotted on the net I want the crows but do not want the same tattoo as what somebody else has if you know what I mean im just looking for ideas that I can take in and work from with the artist to draw up somthing new in the shape I want it when I get it done will have to add some pics of mine .Please keep the tree ideas coming its good to have different ideas thanks
  18. Those lorry curtain sides are fab we have one but rather heavy we painted ours green lol also I know somebody who uses a large swimming pool cover which is rather thick and good for covering and keeping stuff dry
  19. Never thought I would say this but I have this craving for another tattoo I already have two one on the shoulder and one aroud the wrist but now I want a lower back one done have been told its probably going to hurt a lot being over the spine but guess I will find out soon enough. I thought the wrist one would of hurt as it went right over the bone but it didnt. I know what I want a tree of life with crows or a crow cant decide on the design yet have seen a tree with crows flying away on the net but its not what I want im pretty fussy after all its going to be with me for the rest of life . Does anyone have any ideas where I can get tree images from I want the roots as well as the crown to show preferrably in just black or black and grey scale I was off today so popped into the local tattoo parlour lunch time to see what their work was like and to see if they would work on a design with me so now going to gather in the ideas just wondered if you guys would have any good places to look for trees?
  20. You sound as though you have the same problem as us which we are addressing this summer im putting in 6ft livestock fences topped with barb they are a nuisance though even with a 6ft fence some still have the cheek to try I have my beware of the gaurd dogs signs up they quiet blaintently ignore well if my dog bites them on the arse whilst they are tresspassing it their fault they will just have to prove it was my dogs once our fence is up im going to top the posts and top barb with anti climb paint then we are going to get pigs in on the land. If I caught anyone in person they can watch out as the last one I escorted back over the fence with my dog even though he was flashing his bill hook at me should of reported him really but whats the point in the places we can not put barb in goes the hawthorn and blackthorn hedging if I ever get time may do it right around our boundry although that would be a lot of hedge to keep cut and maintained its better than having to escort people off you land who think they are entitled to just take your wood and trample your fences we even had one recently drove past our drive we were at the gates he stopped put his car in reverse backed up asked the hubby could he park on our drive hubby asked what for he said to put some wood in the boot! hubby told him where to go but was in shock! obviously been at our wood pile otherwise how else did he know there was wood there some people have the cheek of the devil I thought he had stopped to ask for directions lol
  21. You look about the same build as me tell your husband your gonna borrow his saw for a couple of days and see how you get on I use my Stihl 261 all day long with no problems once your toned up and used to it you wont even notice it but you wont know unless you get your hands on it lol, if im not using that I use an old husky 365 which I find feel more weighty not sure if it is or if its just my imagination good luck with your cs tickets also
  22. Sorry I was so tired the other day I didnt get a chance to look at it after I first took a quick look until yesterday and I pulled it and it started!and sounded like its running ok so I used it for a short whilejust to have a listen and see if it sounded ok and if it was going to do it again and it didnt so now im confused so I have absolutely no idea what the heck happened the other day but it appears to be running ok. Thanks for the advise about the green two stroke I did not know that and maybe its on its way to seizing or somthing I guess if its going to go it will go soon after what happened the other day I have not had a chance to check my e mails so not sure if the dealer responded yet but when they do I will ask them what to do but I will pop along and get some green two stroke for it. After the mention of what ratio the mix should be I just dug out the booklet off the shelf that came with it to double check as I scribbled the ratio on the plastic when I first had it in permanant marker and just wanted to check incase I had got it wrong this is what it says it recomends stihl moto mix but says its not widley available or to use only stihl two cycle engine oil 1:50 anyway got to get to work thanks for the advice everyone:thumbup1:
