I am sorry to hear about your daughters dog they are pretty sick people really arent they to do something so cruel I hope the dog was ok after?I have friends who are veterinary so if anything did happen I would be on to them straight away our back yard actually comes in through a neighbours so they would of crossed that to open the gate pure opportunist with the cheek of the devil by the seems of it to get that far !.I think it would be too much hassle for them to try that way again though as neighbours have upped their security since I had a chat the other day too and people in the street are no w aware we have had visitors a lot of people along here work from home so people see a lot . I have two dogs only the one is from a working background though (although the are both good gaurd dogs)and was trained as a pup as attended schutzhund with his parents the previous owners kept him until he was 8 months old so he attended up until then I did not bother with any training myself as he was always meant for a pet the previous owners offered for him to continue with the schutzhund training I wish I had now although he is a family dog he is my dog and always watches my back he listens and is focussed even more so recently as he has got older and I have had time to spend with him more now the kids are older. And no your are 100 per cent right I really would not want him sinking his teeth into anyone if they had any sense they would jump into his territory in the first place he is a big dog and can knock a fully grown man to the ground I know because I have seen him do it lol. I would take great pleasure in seeing anyone who try's stealing from me getting bitten on the rear .But these stupid laws they are changing regarding gaurd dogs etc its getting really silly now . I do believe this is the latest - The Dangerous Dogs Amendment Bill will shortly be put before parliament under which it will become illegal for an owner to let his dog to attack a burglar who gains entry to the house while the owner is not there. At the moment (and quite rightly) a dog owner can be prosecuted if his pet attacks an invited visitor, but this proposed change in the law can see the owner go to jail while the burglar claims thousands of pounds in compensation for an attack. As I see it everyone will have to tether their dog whenever they leave the house. I have no idea if its been passed or not yet though ?

Get those images circulating on facebook they spread like wildfire on there and maybe the police would do a raid if there was enough publicity about it with clear images like that ? somebody is bound to recognise them in my opinion the size of their guts indicates travellors that one who came calling here yesterday had a similar sized stomach bunch of clowns need to put it away its gross nobody needs to see that .Hope you find out who they are and get the stuff back

Thanks Steve I know the other websites when I was looking for the waist size had the leg length cant even remember who's website that was on as was trawling for the measurements and done a google search for sizes. As long as they are standard length they are fine.I panicked for a moment and thought I may of ordered short leg by accident lol but only has xs, s ,m etc in the drop down box panick over

Went for the grey im not a bright coloured sort of person I dont do red's I dont mind orange but not red I hate nothing more than being stared at sometimes I dont get a chance to change before picking up the kids from school and some other parents stare when they see you in your P.P.E I think I would really stand out if I was wearing red so sticking to my darker colours I hope they fit as Im a 30 inch according to my tape measure so should be right but now I have thought about it did I order the right leg length was so focussed on the waistline !just checked there is no option so Im guessing they will send a standard length? We had one of our green ash logs made into a fruit bowl ,it kinda shifted shape a bit after it was turned but never split and is perfectly useable and looks lovely

Yeah I looked at that chart it would appear im an xs which makes sense when I had the husqvarna techcnical c type in a small they were massive and kept falling down did not really want to spend that money to find they do not fit properly as ordering online and dont want the hassle of sending things back.Thanks both

Im pretty sensible really wouldnt want my dog sinking its teeth into anyone although im pretty sure with the two of them roaming they would certainly hold anyone until they were told to back down and oh yes the bushnell would definatly be on it so if that does happen will upload it !.I have rung it in and have also found they have been knocking a few other doors locally through a community facebook page . I am not sure if its just coincidence im in this trade it could be and they saw my truck and thought it has to be one of these houses or it could of been more calculated with the incident of the gate being opened earlier this week they may of followed me back from work as I did have a load of them pull up on a road I was working on earlier this week with their tarmac lorry and another one alongside full of whacker plates etc they seen me using my tools then in my customers garden but im sure I would of noticed if a lorry had followed me . They would have to break into my actual house before they could take anything as my shed is full of nothing but bikes and gardening stuff for my garden plus its alarmed and the house is also locked up internally from beyond where the dogs use . I just had a man with an Irish accent knock the door and try to sell me genuine stihl chainsaws .When I asked him well who told you I would want those he said a man down the pub LOL well it has to be said they are getting worse they must of spotted the signs on my truck and thought we will go suss that one out there. I had to stop at the nursery I do as they are on sandy soil with no watering system near the front two lawns the back and main field is still green but I have been cutting them on a higher cut than normal when it started warming up and have not cut them for almost two weeks now with intentions of doing them Monday evening but the front two lawns are baked so cut them even though they are bone dry and now the staff there are watering them to try and get some life back into them lol

We had a good carver at the Caerleon arts festival his name was David Lloyd he was from west wales but a few years back he done some really good ones locally including an indian head that sits at the top of my street maybe worth trying to get hold of him and the guy who does the royal welsh show carvings has some fantastic ones also I cant remmber his name though the one with the green caravan

Aw thanks for the info that's great will speak to Usk college and see what's what and if they provide anything before I make any purchases I remember the white suits on a few young lads that were on site when I done my cs30&31 they looked like the ones a car body paint sprayer would use but will find out off the college. I am guessing they would run these types of courses frequently .I am pretty good at working out stuff as been dealing with weeds on my own land for ages and have so far avoided treating stuff whilst working for others but I am getting asked more and more and if it creates more work then I wont moan.Its just working out stuff when under pressure I may have a wobble on with my maths ,thanks for the help much appreciated will get myself booked on the course ASAP.

Thanks for the info thats made me feel much less worried . I have my good moments and bad when it comes to maths I will get on to the college asap then what PPE will I need are the masks to a certain specification and overalls boots,gloves will I need a spray pack ?
