I've used a 192 and a little Echo and yes they're ok. But like the ad says "why have something like a Golf when you can have a Golf" (For Golf read 200/201)

Impertinent is the wrong word it suggests somehow I ought to defer to you. As for the rest I don't know, maybe I am just asking a relevant question on a open trade forum.

The 150 has a smaller engine, I looked at it briefly, the guy in the shop said it was not up to "elagage professional" The gibe about weight is fair comment though, it's not difficult really to carry a 200/201 all day, any small increase is surely worth the extra power?

Why get a 150? It's going to be gutless. The 201 I have just bought is an absolute peach. If your not strong enough to carry a 201 on your belt or use it all day well....

I don't know what it's called but my wire core flipline has some kind of mechanical grab, squeeze it and it opens, and you can shorten it just by pushing it back through. It's all you need. Chogging down, second line when ascending, safety line when up another stem. Never without it.

Well this morning it had its debut. Oak reduction, cedars then a walnut dismantle. No issues at all, lovely saw, on a par with the 200, will pull a bar length through oak. Love it!

Seems strange to think about resale value. Use it till it's knackered, then keep it for spares.

Oh well, no real choice is there? Husky don't seem to fancy it, Echo are ok for light pruning but dismantling.....

ok mixed reviews, I am on my 6th or 7th 020 then 200 now 201 so I will give it a fair review in a week or two.

Thought I'd bump this thread as I have just picked up a 201. First day with it tomoz. There must be lots filtering into work now. Any new opinions now the dust has settled?

Spikes can be ruined if you "take them back" The lightest of tickles with a flat file will suffice. IME blunt(ish) spikes can be ok. It's not a cutting tool, just enough to penetrate and hold you.
