    With me it's always worrying about a job,"will I do it on time?" "Will the van/chipper/grinder etc be ok?" 99 times out of a 100 the worries fade with the dawn and the morning dog walk. Nuts really, but I cannot stop myself.

    I sometimes get up for a brew, at 3 or 4 ish (tonight 'frinstance) now I'm back to bed for another go at sleep.

    I agree, I used to have greedy boards on my hilux, like you say 10 mins max with a fork.

    I have never really understood that, they go to all the trouble to break into premises then a container and when they see some paint on a saw they don't take it! I think they'll snaffle it by torchlight anyway.

    Derailing a bit but have any of you watched the film with Kirk Douglas? a big favourite of mine.

    Nice day, big ash in a courtyard in Confolens, fairly standard stuff but loading the truck with the digger was real bonus, that hydraulic thumb was a godsend! (Plus I've just bought an i-pad so wanted a play!)

    I agree, we've had swallows here for a couple of weeks, the swifts are amongst the most thrilling birds we have and yet so many people cannot distinguish them from Martins and Swallows.

    I may be wrong but to me it's cutting through an upright branch so fast it drops cut first into the ground. (Good on Lombardies)
