1. No idea mate, never have a clue when contract climbing.. I know it's the same address for the 3 days I'm there so big job or loads of small.. bet there's conifers
2. Looking good mate, quite sure I'll see you next week buddy.
3. Sounds great buddy.. can't wait to see it in action :D:thumbup:
4. Technique is everything as they say.... Fitness comes with time, I was 16 1/2 stone when I started climbing, I now weight in at 13. The more you do it, the better your technique and with it the fitness.
5. Takes a while to get comfy on spikes but it'll come mate. Topping out is the tricky bit to start with.. after that the pole should stabilize for ya happy climbing
6. Gotta love modern science there's a glimmer of hope for this planet yet.
7.
Been thinking further on the Idea of instructing and I've also spoken about it to Gary as I remember he'd been asked too, he'd be interested as would I.. both of us would gladly take a day each, I may even consider taking two but it'd have to be workable.. The experiance we both gained comming through college and progressing to starting our respective companies added to the experiance we're gaining daily as active climbers in the industy could maybe add something to what you have already. Please do get in touch mate.

8.
Hi Dave, I'm interested if the offer is still availible however I'm not sure I could do 3 days, I'm likely to only be able to fill 1 as I now have other contracts but I'd have to know more.. get in touch.. I'll pm you my mobile number.

10. Can't afford either at the moment but your right, it's the 540 for me once I can for sure.
11. I like most were sceptical at best about this saw after the 201's failings but have to admit your review has my quite excited.. can't wait to hear how it's doing at 3-4 months.. if it's still going strong I'll be visiting my dealer
12. Exciting times Paul, can't wait to see the next chapter..
13. Great vid, the 200 is not at its best and the husky is too new for it to be its best go at it.. that said it's the vid everyone wanted to see, would be nice to see a 201 and 540 go head to head.. to make it fair both saws should have a good number of tanks through.. looking like a level playing field..
14. Count me in.. lemme know when u fancy climbing and I'll make myself free.. also looking at a new location this afternoon with my lad so will report back.
15. Its all coming together.. just waiting on Paul to set a date for 41 then I'm up and running

17. Heard the other day that it's still harmful and that the second hand 'smoke' is bad too. Think there considering banning them inside like fags. Can't remember what program it was on though.
18. It's all about the little adjustments.. it took me a couple of days to get it tuned in, but once you hit the sweat spot the motion v2 is amazing :)
19. The upgraded version is rated to 120 kgs and the back attachment is now ppe rated to 15kn (recommended for mewp) , plus that back pad is awesome.
20. I have the upgraded one, love it to bits.. so comfy you forget your wearing it.. couldn't recommend it more.... Ok maybe I could, worth the extra.

24. And so you should buddy.. I have no figures but I've noticed a lot of arbs (myself inc) have dogs. I think we connect with them and rely heavily on their unconditional love and loyalty. I can't begin to know what your feeling, what I can say is I'd be a broken man if I lost my Bodhi.. I don't drink but I'll raise a glass to Toby and all arb dogs out there Peace
25. Sorry for your loss mate, nothing we write will take away the pain u feel but at least Toby is remembered through you... And now the greater community of arbtalk. Hope you find peace.:(
