  4. No this is the one I mentioned, its like entering a reluctant marriage, it goes on forever with no end in sight. To a pro chipper user its like a sink macerator.
  5. I have never done hydroponic stuff myself Tony, does that me the fungi master is willing to forsake the full circle of life to yield food. Or do you just mean auto watering setup?
  6. I don't really rate Arco stuff that much as I find it over priced and same brands cheaper elsewhere. Its nearby for me as well. I Always think how well our skin is made, It regloves itself constantly.
  7. Americans call Lirodendron tulipifera poplar its not our Poplarlus species. Its a yellow wood and grows slower than our poplar.
  8. This year I intend to make a couple of these for lazy watering, then when I arrive home late and forget my prize plant shouldn't dieAbout Us Earthtainer self watering containers. Im trying 20-25ltr oil containers.
  9. Straight talking honesty, well done for holding hands up. Very happy with mine, Ive had to burn wetter wood than I wanted this season. The fluecube seems to get the exhaust up and away better. Last year our smoke drifted down and swirled around alot. So no worries about he neighbours. Plus I reckon you do get a better burn and airflow. Hard to prove without taking on and off and doing it in different weather conditions. I'd like to know more experiences, after all a collective effort will bring about better product development and usage.
  10. They will stay until they get some pay probably. Lets face it things go wrong you work round them. A bulb has to stop working at some point for instance. £124 per hour I think is blatantly disgusting, I'd only do a mornings work a week if I run that kind of enterprise. Tools of trade Tape measure Camera phone ppe Clipboard Pen
  11. £38 a tonne near us for scots pine that is already felled, thats for biomass. As said where abouts are you if you are local to me I have a bit more relevant info. PM me if you want.
  12. Whilst its all fine and good to start with and in dry weather, these tend to be located at a low point where road spray tends to swirl back and in a short distance of travel its useless without regular cleaning in wet weather. I also suffer from bad hand signals I get a nod an wave from a certain chap, all is well until thud! this is with the bosses pickup:001_rolleyes: So now I back up and jump out. Artics are so much easier, line up with mirrors. Back up until fifth wheel lock clunks in.
  13. Never heard of it before, must be a keen hse person aiming for targets.
  14. Ditto with the O ring. Got the service kit for about £12 simple diy fix as well.
  15. Hope this helps RimSprockets oregon.pdf
  16. You seem to be ever present Steve, I have visions of you dangling on a rope saw in one hand phone in other dealing with AT issues.

Thanks Spud:thumbup1: Always looking at options. I check out vibes on the Husky support site when analyzing saws, since I suffered a period of bad sleeping due to dead arms in the night. Don't have it now but all the more cautious. As you know I intend having a 346xp(g) sometime.

The ported 346xp. Obviously quicker throughput of work, how does it feel on vibrations?
  20. Nice "Thumb" brake on grinder.
  21. All the certificates/quals I've acquired, only ever been asked for my driving license. Done everything else on reputation. But I avoid the big time boys who see you as a another machine at their disposal. I lost my saw certificate years ago but have contacted them and they have my number so could issue another for x amount. Would get it if needed but I hope to add more cs modules at some point.
  22. Aim for 100mtr a day get tooled up by fabricating a twister for posts. Charge by mtr. Posts are standard 1.8m apart with 3.6m rails. If you do more its more profit. Two of us can do 200mtr on a good day with heavy knocker and paslode 350 nail gun. Standard average national contractor charge is £14.75 per m according to NAAC. Thats with materials for 3 rail.
  23. An average but good day with an ok knocker on good soil 100mtrs a day. We (2 of us)now can do 200mtr a day with heavy knocker and paslode gun. Standard 3.6m rails mean a post every 1.8m. Charge by the metre.
  24. Sounds a bit like Taupotreemans dead goat on a rope experiment. I wonder if they ever did it?
