Agree, the emissions need leaving alone for a bit now, the obssesion of setting targets has gone far enough. I realised the other day, my earlyMK5 1991 model ford escort van used to do 55mpg whereas the last version built out the same 1.8 block I struggle to get 41mgg. Admittedly the old one didn't have power sapping assisted steering, but that never bothered me. So Im burning more to save on emissions. Likewise with the adblue situation, again burn more to clean it, then who would of ever dreamt of putting the earth precious elements in a exhaust system(cat) palladium, platinum, etc. Sorry for the derail but I find it stupid that it has to affect power tools to the degree it does. As progress on research is biasedly spent.

On a nursery they would be caned and tied to keep straight, once up to 6ft they will hold themselves erect from then on, in the sapling years they are wishy washy and can double back on themselves, go horizontal and generally unwieldly. It is normal. The form you see on urban planting is usually the carpinus betulus fastigata form which is more compact and uniform. Whereas yours will be plain old carpinus betulus.

Also very dangerous:lol: I made some, didnt fill the plastic bottles right up and gave them a squeeze whilst putting lid on tight to allow for expansion. Left them stood up in the bath in case they leaked. Went away for two nights and come back to empty bottles all over the bathroom and redecorated walls and ceiling in light hues of a yellowy green. Glad we did go away, explosions in the night wouldn't of gone down too well with the wife maybe. As for TPO on an elderberry, do you reckon the officer was in a competition with a coleague, Who could get a tpo on all the trees in an id book first? ITs notorious for being a weak hedge plant that stock shove through, and its known as "boretree" for its hollow trunk which makes it structurally weak, therefore a safety issue me thinks.

Im not big on spraying crops, but often the sprayers can be putting fertilizer on. I did a stint in a fruit orchard in Motueka NZ. The owner came past on the tractor spraying away on the row we were thinning fruit. We got a dose and We were outraged. He reckoned it was only lime in suspension. To top up the fruit calcium content. i.e the fruit has to have a specific calcium minium content on the shelf. My thinking was what about the residue from lasts weeks toxic crusade? The problem is now with EU etc we expect such perfection on the shelf. Look at the top quality carrots they bag as seconds for donkeys and ponys! Clover in orchards and quiet roadsides would probably help the bees, but we dont plan for them. We cut grass as quick as it grows we crop as WE LIKE IT, not the bigger picture.

Still got my tin can alley. Wish I'd kept the star wars I got rid of. AT-AT and Millenium Falcon. Kept the stacks of lego. In fact still buy it as an investment, never open the boxes though.

I have just looked on a brand new husqvarna helmet. No address or website ref. I do know that clarks forestry on here sell balance helmets in a choice of colours, It they wont give you a contact maybe they can pass on the message.

Deans from Yorkshire, If it aint broke dont fix it! The shiny new one will be stored as a precious spare, just in case. I understand Dean and it will come in when a nut rounds off or has to be cut off.

Has been covered in many threads. Effective and potentially dangerous. You should fit a cord to safety rail to stop the engine by pull strangler on older tractors and the manual tells you to acquire and fit a kill switch on key stop tractors, but as treequip says there is a few pto revolutions before it really stops and they are quick when you dont expect it. In a commercial situation I'd steer clear. Especially employees.

If its self propelled or on a tractor, go over it shallow to cut top down and give a rough level over then leave to dry out a day or two then go deeper. Or better still plough or drag before going deeper.

When political tensions and war are on the up they used to reduce the quality, but dont think its the case now. I find it slow and browse off elsewhere and give up with it alot.

Solid britsh enginnering. I acquired a second hand compact pto hole borer. It was in kubota orange and I wanted to paint it red(Tomlin colour) It had a Tomlin plate on it but they manufacture for other O.E supplier. Emailed them. Richard Tomlin himself replied and sorted me with paint and transfers. I would highly recommend and pay a bit more.

It will likely implode at some point lots of greedy people have seen it as a get rich quick scheme, not the arb guys just some of the big time dealers, once its no longer subsidised by"Green goodness" Just like bio fuel and other ideas it will perish I think. Shame really because unmolested in a commercial way it has an excellent potential.
