  1. Sunderland man to stand trial accused of causing unnecessary suffering to a wild bird in alleged bizarre attack - Chronicle Live WWW.CHRONICLELIVE.CO.UK David Lee will stand trial at South Tyneside Magistrates' Court after pleading not guilty to the charge He seems a nice lad, he put his knob in a seagull

    Jokes???

What do you call a fat chick with a rape whistle? Optimistic
  3. Anyone who makes a joke about a professional diver getting a job in the NHS as a gynaecologist is getting booted off this thread (according to Steve Bullman)
  4. Try a top of the range battery chainsaw and you'd be impressed, the bushman will then be left hanging on a nail in the shed. Only disadvantage, is like with any chainsaw, you need to wear the trousers/boots etc
  5. To be fair though, in a BP garage a tuna sandwich will also cost you £10.99
  6. Bit of a cheesy name Easy Petrol Post Driver - Fast & Easy Post Driving WWW.PETROLPOSTDRIVER.COM The Easy Petrol Post Driver is an Australian made machine complete with a Honda 4-Stroke Engine. Drive posts fast and easily. Buy Online Today. I wonder if a handheld post knocker vibrating away is any less wear and tear on the joints in your arms and shoulders than swinging a fencing maul about?
  7. @Peasgood said he was ordering an Eastonmade 12-22 from the uk supplier, would love to hear how he got on. I like the look of their splitters, my only gripes (from watching the videos) would be; Petrol engine on most of them (not diesel) You'd need a conveyor to take the logs away, don't think any of the horizontal splitters come with an attached conveyor 4ft total width, so a bit narrow for road towing, assuming they're legal for that Not sure how ergonomic the location of the control valves is? They do look well built though
  8. Some naughty people would push the cones and lights out the way since the guys have gone for the weekend When I see the welsh bilingual signs like that I wonder was there some little old man who can't speak (or read) a word of english, who would come up to a red light and not know he had to stop infront of it, so they had to put up the translation Up here the ambulances have a gaelic translation on them, just incase you didn't know what it was.
  9. Is yours a 550XP? If so, then the obvious answer is to give him that, and buy yourself a 550XPG (heated heandles)

    Stunt fell

Always hard to aim for a moving target
  11. I've been to that butchers, posh, but then so is the rest of Melrose! Something about JK Rowling in the window Trying to think of a good joke, there must be one....... Trans butcher goes to the sex change surgeon to get his manhood cut off. Surgeon says to him: "Sure, no problem. Is it link or lorne?" That was terrible. Sausage jokes are the wurst.
  12. If you were local I would flog you a 2nd hand husqvarna 435, not been used much. Decent enough wee saw but has been superseded by battery.
  13. If you do longer willow cuttings they can fight with the weeds a bit better, maybe 3ft/4ft. Was talking to a guy before who was using cuttings at 6ft minimum, they were going in to bracken, never heard how he got on with that
  14. Any chance we could send the lads up to Loch Ness when they're done?......
  15. There was a guy last year who went missing in Cullen walking back to his house. His body was found a few weeks later washed up on a small Orkney island. Given the expanse of ocean, it seems amazing he was found (obviously he didn't go by road!)
  16. A guy went missing locally whilst walking his dog in December 2019, they found his car and the dog, but have never found the man. You can only assume he fell into the river and was washed out to sea. James Paton - Police Scotland WWW.SCOTLAND.POLICE.UK James Paton Some confusion over where exactly the dog was. Police say there it was inside the car, but locally people say it was stood outside the car, as if it had managed to find it's own way back.
  17. Is Northern Arb Supplies still on the go? Website seems to be down, or is it just the rotatech website now?
  18. What happens if you get a metal detector for christmas? Detectorists find unexploded bomb near schools in Invergordon WWW.BBC.CO.UK The discovery led to a number of schools and roads being closed in Invergordon. 700 pupils get the day off school
  19. I assume when you say watts you're meaning watt hours? It doesn't matter what brand it is, they will all cost much and such the same to charge, for the power that they deliver. If you look on the bottom of an 18v 5ah battery it will usually be stamped 90wh. 18 x 5 = 90 Add on a few watts for the charger itself, and there's your 100 watt hours (0.1kwh) to recharge. So a husky bli300 battery which is 36v 9.4ah, is 36 x 9.4 = 338wh
  20. I'm a psychopath, I went the other way! I had a renault master with a rotten tipper body. Got a great condition dropside (non tipper) body, from a transit, and fitted that, on my own. Not too complicated to make the mountings work. Gave the old hydraulic pump and ram to a friend, sold the old (alloy) tipper sides for £100! Handy little runaround, and the dropside has a swinglift on it, which to me is as handy as a tipper would be. (I know you could fit a swinglift to a tipper anyway....)
  21. Hi folks, I've seen a roble beech growing locally, apparently planted 1988 and a fair old size, beautiful tree. I fancy one for the garden, has anyone seen anywhere selling them, I've not had much luck on google so far. Ideally bare root and cheap! Or do you think cuttings would have any success?
  22. Seen they've now got fruit trees in poundstretcher...............but now £10 each this year!!
  23. I'm not interested in anything more than a liquid crystal display and a few LEDs
  24. Sony Discman D137 CR Mega Bass WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Good working order. Sorted
