  1. Not sure, all I know is my green jumper needs a wash
  2. Now I know I live a sheltered life, but this is the first time I've heard of these: Tracked Carriers Spotlight at Caledonian Cranes, Scotland. Scottish Sales and Rental for Maeda, Böcker and Potain. Caledonian Cranes CALEDONIANCRANES.CO.UK The versatile UK designed and built Tracked Carriers now available nationwide at Caledonian Cranes, Scotland. Looks like a handy bit of kit for moving big lumps of wood, I wonder what the prices are
  3. Did anyone see the Ukraine president in America to meet their president? I liked his outfit, that's the same as what I look like if I ever have to dress smartly. Jumper, cargo trousers, and a clean set of boots
  4. This was posted on here before
  5. On a lot of the literature now it's not pregnant women it's "pregnant people" You would think carrying a baby inside your womb, would classify you as a woman
  6. Have a look at these fields near Inverness, image date July 2011 Google Maps WWW.GOOGLE.CO.UK Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps. Then switch it to the latest date, August 2021
  7. Last night I was looking round rough parts of Glasgow. Started off in Tradeston, then over to the Barras. When you look through the different dates, can't believe how posh some of these places are becoming. Old buildings torn down and replaced with swanky soulless flats. Old mans type pub turned into a metrosexual gin bar. Don't know if it's good change, it seems like the places are losing their soul. (would love to know what the locals think). I'm in a previous street view image, saw the car go past when I was up a scaffold tower in lanarkshire. Also in another location you can see some of the trees I sneakily planted under a full moon. Not going to post links
  8. A quick glance at that and I thought it was a guy taking a dump!!
  9. I think I've already eaten reconstituted mechanically recovered human meat. Tasted fine to me.
  10. I can picture this going down the road, with logs in place of the bombs
  11. That sounds fantastic, can they handle a small boat, as I think that would be a useful skill?
  12. On the subject of strikes, who's postie is still striking? Round here most now seem to be working on strike days, talking to the ones I know, they don't think the pay offer will get any better, or they don't want to lose out on any more pay for days off. Apparently the big parcel centres down south are rammed out the door with packages. Maybe we should send the army in there too?
  13. Over two thousand firefighters and control staff rally in Westminster WWW.FBU.ORG.UK On 6 December, over 2,000 firefighters and control staff from across the UK assembled in Westminster to protest low pay after their strike ballot opened yesterday. We'll be running out of squaddies at this rate!!
  14. This is the first harvest, it was bare ground 4yrs ago. The thicker stuff is probably up to 4" diameter. Don't get me wrong, I've put much better stuff through the chipper over the years, but the difference here is it's your own. Bit like growing your own veg. Also it's all on site where it will be burnt eventually, can cut it with a battery saw, then just bring it up with a barrow. The thinner stuff is getting kept in water as whips for more planting. The longer bits I plan to make another living willow tunnel/archway somewhere. If I ever had the time I would love to make one of those willow domes
  15. Both great firewood, if the larch is decent might be worth getting it milled, then build a shed with the timber
  16. Tell the guy to go to tesco if he want's wine, there's fookin shelves full of the stuff in there
  17. Men in boilersuits? That's a whole other fetish for some folks

By the way, the sunday sport is full of shite, the photo was taken in Golspie not Aberdeen. How can I ever trust their journalism again?

^Atleast we now know who it was!
  20. Available in store today, apparently; https://www.aldi.co.uk/auto-xs-heated-seat-cover/p/721558670421500
  21. I fitted a genuine eberspacher to a transit I was using as a basic camper. I did a "proper job" which involved raising the entire van on various lumps of wood, then dropping the fuel tank to get to the outlet on the top of the tank to get a feed in. The thought at the time was you wouldn't have to fiddle about filling up a small tank that only runs the heater. If I was doing it again I would just use a separate tank! Jerry can would do. You could run the heater on red but they use very little diesel. It was hooked up to a leisure battery and a split charge relay, you could run that heater all night. They are fantastic heaters but probably a bit overkill for sitting there whilst you eat your sarnies. Any electric heater running off 12v is either going to be hopeless, or need welding cables to wire it up. The flames in the op picture come from the overheated fuse and wiring
  22. I've got snow chains for the transit, they're great, but are a bit of a faff to get them on and off
  23. Finally got round to adding an extra bay onto this shed from earlier in the thread. The way it worked with timber sizes I made the new roof cantilever off the end, to give a bit more covered space for odds and sods. Takes the capacity up to about 160 m³
  24. I see that search term that doesn't appear is "how do I get rid of logs for free"
