    Jokes???

It's a medical playset, I assumed the ducks were there, so you could go and see a quack?
  3. scbk

    WTF

I suppose you'd have to number them as they came out, to make sure you replanted them in the right order, or it would just look stupid?
  4. What about half a quad bike? They're getting hard to find for sale now though....
  5. Just came on here to post todays fix, then realised that @aspenarb did this repair on the very first post of this thread!! Timberwolf TW190 Slight squeal off the belt when turning a corner when tracking. No before photo, the hydraulic pump bracket was being pulled apart. Took the bracket to a friend in his late 70's who's a good welder (and general mechanic) It's now stronger than when it left the factory, thankfully I got it in time before it did any further damage
  6. Any good jokes about him doing the rounds in the town? I'm hoping for something involving trans, butcher, sausages.
  7. Apparently the black eye was from when he got arrested!! Poor guy probably tripped up on his shoelace or something
  8. "At the time of his arrest, he was presenting as Amy George but confirmed he wished to be addressed as Andrew Miller using "he" pronouns for simplicity."
  9. I see your butcher's case has made it to court! Man abducted and sexually assaulted schoolgirl while dressed as woman WWW.BBC.CO.UK Andrew Miller, also known as Amy George, sexually assaulted the primary school girl for 27 hours after taking her to his home.
  10. As an old pal would say "he who laughs last laughs longest" Great guy, terrible undertaker.
  11. Usually the super unleaded will be marked as e5. E5 and E10 is the maximum percentage of ethanol, it might be less than this!!
  12. Oil sprayed on the machine will do it some good! Take a chill pill and let the fitter find out where the oil has come from. Assuming hydraulic, might have just been a loose fitting? Hope the driveway is ok?.....
  13. Note to self ; don't take photos at dusk!!!! Decent amount of apple blossom, including on some poundstretcher trees which only went in start of 2022
  14. I know it's probably about 6 months after you southerners, but finally got the tomatoes into their final pots in the greenhouse, and it's now all homemade compost, which looks ok after it's gone through some mesh Good crop of rhubarb too, even with the lack of weeding!!
  15. Yep, the staff are just there for the punters
  16. I'm waiting for full driverless, probably a safer bet!
  17. No wonder there's a labour shortage, they're all driving driverless busses! (2 staff on each one!)
  18. I think for general heating, like air or water, yes it does need a lot of power. But heated handles are just a little wire running through, I don't know how many watts that would be? Googling motorbike heated grips suggests 10w-30w or whatever? Which is a drop in the ocean compared to the 1.5kw motor. I think the drawback for me would be I tend to leave battery saws "on tickover" for a long time, ready to go just by releasing the chainbrake. So if you left the grips on and the saw on the ground idiling for long periods you'd just be wasting power
  19. I've sorta looked at them briefly, but for the cost you're halfway to buying timber and wriggly tin to build something that will last decades, and you could put a lock on the door! You sometimes see people selling 2nd hand big gazebo/marquee things that have been bought and used once for a wedding, the white ones aren't very easy on the eye though!
  20. Maybe I'm late to the party, but just seen Husqvarna are now doing a "G" version of the 540ixp, with heated handles, and oil sensor Husqvarna 540i XP® G Chainsaw | Husqvarna UK WWW.HUSQVARNA.COM Husqvarna 540i XP® G is a powerful and efficient battery-powered chainsaw for professional use. Equipped with heated handles to keep your hands warm and dry Husqvarna T540i XP G Chainsaw | Husqvarna UK WWW.HUSQVARNA.COM Husqvarna T540i XP G is a powerful, battery-powered top-handle chainsaw for professional tree care. Equipped with heated handle to keep you warm and dry in
  21. If he's got the space, did he not make a clanger by not putting in a ground source heat pump, thought they were always cheaper to run? And also solar and cables whilst the place was getting built?

    Jokes???

  23. It's about 8mx9m, play area in a garden for some folks I know
  24. Just wondering what's the opinions on the best way to fix down machined round 100mm when used as edging? As in 3.6m lengths, laid horizontal, round a barked area, 100mm high. I don't think vertical wooden pegs up against it would look good as it's round, there would be a gap. Thoughts would be cut notches in the round edging for the posts to recess in to and screw? Or cut steel pegs from 15-20mm bar, bore a hole through the middle of the machined round, and hammer the pegs through?
