  1. Come on, admit it, you just like it because of all the pulleys used!
  2. Nice post-fell lunge!
  3. If anyone has any examples of gravity resistant cleavage, please post.
  4. Nice one.
  5. Definitely damage of some kind, if not machinery then animal possibly. Good advice above, mulch it and maybe get a tree guard for the base.
  6. Perhaps post some pics of good birch reductions for him to give the customer another option.
  7. I've got a 105cm length of the 10mm eye2eye ocean poly, generously donated by a fellow arbtalker. Whilst it's quite long, i've just put more wraps and braids in my VT. I like the extra security but it still glides quite fluidly over my xtc+.
  8. To be safe I'd throw in the little top hat as well!
  9. ...and get Euros!
  10. Looks like he enjoyed himself. Gah, he's climbed a wellingtonia before me!
  11. I agree with many people on here about Mr Murphy's techniques. I am still very young in terms of arb experience but old enough to know not to speak ill of people in a personal way. Let's keep this gentlemanly shall we.
  12. I love the woman's comments on the second movie. She goes from "Oh jesus, jesus, oh, ohhhhh" to "look at all the light on the house" within a few seconds...gotta love people! Just fell it from the ground man!
  13. Paid £250 for mine. Second hand from a dealer. Runs alright, just needs a bit of encouragement now and again!
  14. Thanks for posting. In my humble opinion, in the time you spent with the camera you could have been spiking up, lowering the limbs and then blocking down the stem, without causing the property owners the stress of possibly having their hedge destroyed. I am assuming that the other person doing the filming works for you, and could have been lowering for you. I know you're all about getting jobs done quickly with minimum effort, but I think in this case it would have been more efficient to use the controversial "climb to top of tree and section it down" method. I wasn't there so can't be certain of all the variables that you might have identified, and glad it worked out for you.
  15. Welcome to the Apple club! Perhaps our emails might get through now!
  16. No. I'm the guy in the orange helmet and I'm a shorta***!
  17. You can't sack me, I resign! The high stump was due to barbed wire fence. The camera was just on a tripod on auto.
  18. 1 teaspoon of colombian with 2 of dark brown demerara and a ton of milk...mmmm.
  19. Just call me "Wedge" Antilles!
  20. You just want a bigger toy to play with!
  21. I gave myself the regulation "4 cuts" the other day in a cherry. It was the very last branch as well!
  22. I'd bite yer hand off if I lived nearer mate! Seriously Al's a top bloke to work for, this is such a good opportunity for someone.
