  1. I knew a German hooker who could count one higher. She didn't like her back doors smashed in though.
  2. The KM94 should be fine as it's not a 4-mix. I've got the Echo and it's a nice solid power unit - less plastics than the Stihl but i've found both Stihl and Echo hedge cutter attachment not being super reliable (yes, i do grease them). They both should last a good few years before bearing or con-rods go and then it's a couple hundred for a new cutting head.
  3. A friend of mine has the chainsaw driven SG and has had a similar experience. No idea how people like that can stay in business! Shame as Rhino teeth look like they would be worth a try.
  4. Are you doing it at Barchams, Ely? If you are, i'll see you there. I've been meaning to do this course for years - now i've finally committed.
  5. Sorry about picture quality - full zoom on the camera phone. I think that it may be young polyporus s.
  6. Putting a new handle on a MS150T - what a pig!
  7. Normally do a few times in between services, especially after dry/dusty jobs but as i've been off the tools since Christmas, i'm relying on the guys checking it once in a while.
  8. I serviced the machine just after i bought it in November last year so it probably hasn't been checked for several months.
  9. "Chipper's not working" I wonder why....
  10. Used mine yesterday. Carried two boxes of large/cider to the bbq, then used it as a seat. Great bit of kit!
  11. That's good feedback, thanks. I thought that I would stick with Triumph as I loved my Sprint RS but I may save a bit more for a Harley when the time comes. Cheers.
  12. It was still the case when I did it in 2013, think it still is.
  13. What's the Speedmaster like? Never ridden a custom-style bike but after I get a hip op, that's what i'm going for. I was thinking the Speedmaster or Bonneville America, probably SM due to less polishing.
  14. It's been a hedge-cutter day: Echo 331 - coil Echo 2410 - stop switch Echo 265 - flexi drive Stihl KM-HL

    No spark?

Thanks Steve, that post reminded me that I have two identical trimmers so I've just swooped the coils and can now confirm 100% that that is the problem. Pictures below I case your spare is the same.

    No spark?

I have an Echo hedgecutter that seems to have no spark. Can't see any spark, tried putting fuel down the plug hole - not even a cough. I've tried disconnecting the stop wire and tried adjusting the gap to the flywheel - no difference. I guess that means a dodgy ignition module?
  17. I'd agree with that. I've worked a bit in the Northern boroughs and virtually every time everything had to go through the house. I certainly wouldn't quote from photos.
  18. Couple of call outs today from the weekends weather. Three-way split. Lightning strike.
  19. I've got one that i use to use to haul machinery up ramps onto the back of the truck - very handy for that. When i use to winch out stumps (pre grinder), the 1600kg was always man enough.
  20. I read through this thread to this post on page 3 (good post by the way Scotspine1) and then skimmed the rest to find a response but there seems to be no more posts from Tommer9. I'm worried now that the CIA or MI5 may have given him a tap.
  21. In the 10+years that i've been running my business I have found every year that Apr, May, Jun to be the quiet quarter of the year (especially June) but then it goes manic as soon as we hit July. My theory is that after the cold winter months people are so relieved and appreciative of the beauty of the fresh spring leaf and flowers that it's not until later into Summer when the tree start to put on extension growth and block out the summer light that they then remember they want to do something about that tree. So i'm not worried.
  22. First time i've heard of this. Maybe this is why my wife doesn't want me to get rid of the huge one at the front of our house! 😠
  23. Could have something to do with it. I didn't question the guy about how he'd planted the hedge. .
  24. I was thinking along those lines.
  25. Forgot the photo.
