  1. is there an adjustor for oil flow on the bottom of the saw?
  2. We just track our wee grinder into the back off the iveco long ramps and put the tipper up a foot and it goes in no bother
  3. Nice job work smarter not harder:thumbup:
  4. We use a strop as the loop is broken off the down side is you end up going thru more off the rubbers we keep 2 in stock as well as the air filters which aren't easy to clean but they are good little saws I reckon we use them for 70% off the cutting that we do the bigger saw that makita do isn't as good
  5. what weights in that i didnt realise they were as big as that but when you see it on an agg trailer its pretty big
  6. stump grinders are mechanically simple so i dont think you could go far wrong with any grinder
  7. this post is odd ive not been on arbtalk for a few days and i have just wrecked a section of my guard as well
  8. we keep an old snotter of a saw if anybody asks thats the saw they can borrow they dont get any of our good stuff
  9. is the big red one an old ackerman in my last employment [masterton demolition] we hired your air burner for doing demi waste worked a treat but i kept thinking about all the waste heat from it such a waste also what the green grinder with the deutz motor in it
  10. we finally got our saw sorted out and i have had a few probs but it wouldnt put me off i would definately buy another one theres not another saw like it
  11. morooka with a boom and grapple
  12. we tried reducing the amount of pairs of teeth from 6 pairs down to four so it goes now 2 straights then a pair of left and rights then gap and the back to 2 straights then left right then gap but the 2 straights are sitting 5mm further out and this made a difference the engine doesnt lug down as much and it also cuts quicker
  13. weve got the kubota diesel version i think its quite a good simple chipper
  14. we had a similar problem with our grinder and changing plugs was a temporary fix i ended up taking the head off and relapping the valves and resetting the valve clearances my thoughts were that the engine was lugging down due to lack of compression caused by leaky valves and it was sooting up the plugs causing a misfire/splutter flames shooting out the exhaust
  15. was there something on the box about that during the week
  16. probably because hes shelled out for a service and doesnt want to keep throwing money at it but things break down even after they have been serviced also many people arent that mechanically minded and dont like getting billed for something that there dealer has screwed up on
