  1. nobody hurt no damage bit of profit well done
  2. i have just done a turbo on one £1400 for it and it only had 4000hrs on it the servo motor on the waste gate was £1200 alone ouch

  7. we made ours and use it regular so much in fact that we mounted it on top off the chipper on its own frame as it gets in the road in the back off the truck we have even put a load of chip on top and only remembered about it when we tipped off also it keeps the weight down on the truck
  8. finally managed to get a bit of time to crack on with the new grinder got the engine fitted with mounts and got the cutter head frame mocked up
  9. if its came from a generator it could be the wrong governor
  10. get a tachometer to read the rpm before you do anything it could be a fuel restriction then see what you should have. also check that the throttle cable is pulling the rack up to the stop
  11. heres food for thought i was talking to a fellow engineer about stump grinders and there life span. i work on heavy plant most of the the time and there expected to do 30k hours before replacement most grinders you see popping up on ebay are less than 700hrs they are getting sold off because they are showing signs off a hard life so if you have spent £40000 on a grinder £1000 a day doesnt seem that unrealistic a figure if you can get it well done
  12. main gas pipe buried 6 inches under the ground with a 55t liebherr demolition excavator taking it off the back of a low loader in the main road going into falkirk on easter friday at 3pm when everybody was trying to get home:thumbup:
  13. Speak to billy at Allison enterprises he runs a Terex pt80 with a clearing head on it and its very effective
  14. I would reckon then it will be a gear or a vane type pump and that will be the relief valve adjustment
  15. What is it fitted to it could be ls adjustment or swash minimum or max or maybe even a relief valve

  17. i found the stein plasma uncomfy i prefer my petzl vertex it has far better ventilation for my sweaty baldy bonce
