  1. the dust is bad for your lungs as well as the carbide its a heavy metal it tears up your lungs according to tinternet all in all bad stuff
  2. no aluminium mounted diamond with an enclosed box with the inside coated in mobiltac grease to catch all the dust makes a lot of difference in the shop
  3. we have been doing a fair bit of grinding in stony ground and the front of the shanks have been starting to wear quite a bit so i decided to put hardfacing on the nose of the shank to stop them wearing so much and also managed to sort out sharpening the cutters as well, the grinding wheel i got off ebay cost about £14 and it works pretty good I've done about 40 sharpens and there is very little wear on the grit
  4. i am beginning to think that ebay dont care or want to care as they make that much from fake/scam /stolen stuff
  5. its been ended when i tried to report it to ebay the page i kept going into wouldnt work also there were 2 different locations glasgow and lancaster
  6. even although its been lying for 5 years it may still be full of moisture hence the crap on the glass

  10. if cash is tight the camon c275 / c250 is a good chipper for your money weve had ours for 3+ years and it has transformed our business it looks so much better when you turn up to a job and you can deal with the arising on site instead off slash and stamp to get it all in the back
  11. another oddball job landed at our door 3 old stumps making a comeback at the top of a small banking only accesible from roadside as owner didnt want plants wrecked and slabs that were holding up the banking so we had to build a platform to get over the top
  12. are they a harder carbide or do the edges still round off quite quick

  16. good ideai was thinking about this for my mums subaru either that or a half track
  17. youve got to grind off the nose to get the proper angle
  18. ok then 560 it is then cheers guys
  19. mmm decisions decisions might go for 560 or another 550 we were looking at something comparable to a 357 which from what i can gather the 353 aint nowhere near
