  2. is there anything available that can deal well with arb waste
  3. i should have taken a picture of it but i didnt its small round and black/purplish looks like an anemone from the sea and its 1 1/2 - 2 inches in diameter any pointers please

  5. never got in till late as we had another conny bashing job on after we finished the stump part time is beginning to get a bit more like almost full time:thumbup1:
  6. there was only 2 of us i was climbing and rich was clearing up the lowering bollard was just a wrap around bollard that i made years ago and been modified over the years we are just a 2 man part time band
  7. to keep costs down the hiab was only on site for an hour also the amount of branches would have been to much in one go for us to clear up it would just have been too busy , there was only 4 hours stripping the tree till it was bare before the hiab arrived
  8. grinding jobs that size arent too common for us i was thinking about a bigger grinder but most of the stuff that we have been doing is ranging from 6'' up to about 30'' so i dont know if its worth it. we now have a set up for sharpening the greenteeth so its a very cost effective set up and to go and spend 20k on a bigger grinder my minds not made up yet
  9. probably about 4-5 hrs grinding time there was quite a bit of material to get removed which took a long time to clear up
  10. i like the idea of cooking the sausages bet you cant do that with a grinder
  11. yr.no ? Weather forecasts for Norway and the world from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and the NRK thats who we use they all use the same information anyway so its really down to finding a good format that you like i think

  13. unfortunately i couldnt take a picture as i was pretty obvious and the last thing i was wanting was to draw any attention i can do without a run in
  14. i came back my holidays today and passed some fly tipping caravan dwellers with their lorry bogged to the axles in a well known bit of waste ground so i phoned the coppers and they got busted , honestly i am so happy i could cry i like to do my bit
  15. you can buy a cheaper log splitter off flee bay and keep both thats what i would do

  17. Don't get me started about this we had the same problem at the weekend we were grinding out 3large stumps and we had to stop a few times as people were walking thru our work area
  18. not in scotland i believe thats why theyre all up here
  19. or do it with mild steel and run some hard facing down the edge and dress it back with a grinder to an edge
  20. looks too big to be left standing with that amount of decay in the stem i would say fell or at the minimum a hefty reduction
  21. this has got my ears pricked up i think ours is the 365 special can it be modded
