  2. i got some scottish cheese from a customer it was like thick butter and cover in seeds it found its way to the bin it was rank, just remembered caboc
  3. i done it the other week and just used a false crotch with a bite on it to save any sharp edges on the rope
  4. i bought original for our canon chipper they lasted one turn and broke up i now use saturn

  8. started off building a new screw splitter today just need to build an adaptor for the crank then fit some belts and a clutch roller and it'll be up and running engine is a wing wang 2 cocks 5.5 hp diesel resurrected from a water pump:thumbup:
  9. back today for a callout fixing a container stacker that had no box lights officially start back on the 3rd jan

  12. i used to do ours on the lathe but i was worried about the carbide affecting the slides so i made up a jig to do them on the mill

  14. you can also get these with a forestry mower awesome piece of kit I've done a fair bit of work with them even fitted a post knocker onto it

  21. not everybody is good with a set of spanners like yourself i was taking this into account i know you don't need to buy parts from a dealer but for service if your dealer is 1000km away and you are trying to get a pile of work done and your machine is lying broke it aint gonna look good
  22. i have got a silver line one pure poop :thumbdown:put me off full stop so now i only sharpen by hand and sadly finding it quite therapeutic
  23. is there a uk dealer if there aint you will have probs getting service and parts i would like to see better pics before commenting about build /design i would stick to main stream stuff
  24. i would say you get more torque from a 35hp diesel and lower fuel consumption than equivalent petrol but you may have issues with it being top heavy as diesels are generally heavier built
