  1. Just looked out the window and spotted 3 green woodpeckers (yaffles as they are know here in Dorset!), goldfinches on the feeders, a nuthatch, and a load of big fat wood pidgeons!!   7. Warren, I too have an addictive personality.... Four years ago i decided to leave drink alone for a month, I lasted 14 months in the end and during that time I felt healthy, super fit, woke every day with a crystal clear head and treated myself to a new car on the basis that I wasn't spending the money on booze!!! I now treat myself to a cider or two on the weekend and drink in moderation. Having been both tee total and also too far the other way getting lashed (uni days mainly!)   9. *i must start doing these following hobbies more often/again Fishing, playing drums and guitar, rock climbing/mountaineering, woodworking, wake boarding (when the water warms up a bit!), golf, surfing, squash, badminton, off roading, shooting.   10. I like the idea. I'm a visual person and if I received a disk of pictures or even a video then I'd take interest. And dare I say it would give me a chance to see if someone was any good or not before meeting them! Keep the pics that would be more suited to 'stunt fell' or 'lunge thread' on arbtalk though!   22. I'll bet it was a pain. No good either when the ivy gets caught in your prussick or hitchclimber and you have no friction on your climbing rope! I've hit the deck due to this happening to me in the past
  23. Purely out of interest did the client want to retain the ivy on the trees?
