Dangled carrots used to tempt me, but I've learnt the hard way ..... People will tell you anything to get the price cheaper. Just got stung myself with the promise of site clearance on a healthy day rate if I could just re-negotiate the price work element to make it cheaper - worked like a dog for next to nowt on the price work only to be told 'we won't be needing you for the rest'! vertex vent here too, on my second one (last one served me 5 and 1/2 years - still fine but thought i ought to get a new one!). In all honesty though tombo, you need to put a few on your head mate to find which one fits you best! for example I liked the look of the stein fighter pilot style lids but when i tried it it didnt fit my noggin!!

Mark you never fail to make me laugh! Quality I enjoy banter but I agree with the original post in the sense that you can find yourself checking and rechecking what your typing for fear of getting shot down. I don't enjoy that feeling, and it puts me off posting and starting threads at times.
