  1. Yes it's a good price. What 'green' content will they accept?
  2. No-one enjoys the sight of budgie smugglers, most, like me like zoomed in crotch shots even less... Am i wrong to want to have seen some amateur backyard footage where some feckless homeowner almost loses an arm instead?
  3. It's a subjective argument, people pay what they believe a groundsman or wood processor man is worth to them, i've done and do both. Wood processing is a difficult job at times, depending on how much you want as an output, and rain (mine wasn't a covered area) a seriously cold spell last Winter where it didn't get above freezing for pretty much 6 weeks, and a decent spell at -9 then IF someone can still produce well then they're worth there money. Which for me was well worth it, i worked on what i produced, i filled a silo trailer for £25 a load for softwood and £35 for hard wood, this was using a Palax PTO driven machine. Busy weeks i made between £550 and £600, but these were long days, 11-13 hours.
  4. Just a quick word to those at Treeworker (and those thinking about using them) I got a pair of Meindl AirStream's from these guys at the Capel show, the service was second to none, just goes to show the importance of having industry practitioners advising and selling products. A recommendation from someone with experience goes a lot further than the cheapest price for me. You'll be receiving more orders from me! Chris
  5. Can i have a read after that? Who do i PM?
  6. Get a 130R. Stihl KM 130R engine unit (36.6cc) 4-mix | F R Jones and Son I've used the KM90R at 1.3hp and it was completely gutless, passable at hedgecutting, a miserable item to use when brushcutting. I since own, and use regularly my 130R, no issue running anything!
  7. Westfields contact, tawwwk to me! "I had a swedish girl 63 she was, she come up to me, she said "excuse me sir do you mind if i sit down next to yah." I said "hang about." I gets a hotel room, bit of room service make love for nine hours, I wake up, I look down... and she's got a pair of balls. I couldn't believe it."
  8. Westfields? Got a website/contact number? Cheers
  9. Go for a Hitchclimber rapide, less maintenance with the sealed bearing. I use a HC with a distel, easy, safe and importantly for me right now, re-assuring, i found i was always checking the setting of my VT before i sat back on it. Right now a distel is what i find makes my climbing smoother because i'm not constantly checking it, but i will probably move to a VT when i' more experienced. Oh, and use Ocean Polyester 8mm, fairly cheap by the metre from Jonesies.
  10. Bite the fiancial bullet and get some Stretch Air Gladiators...well worth the cash.
  11. That's classic. We worked for a nice old woman who insisted on a cup of tea and bicuits before work, out came the silver tray, tea pot and china! And more recently we worked for a chap where we were on site at 8, and had 4 cups of tea before lunch! We had to refuse in the end, i got a bit tea'd out!!
  12. I'm using it as friction cord Works amazingly.
  13. VERY interested. PM sent.
  14. Forget about the 441 unless you want endless headaches, for some it's amazing, others a nightmare. I wouldn't want to take the risk! Find an old 440 and enjoy that! Or buy a 372XP, i did. Awesome saw on an 18" bar.
  15. Ah, ok. Was thinking of getting the Silky LongBoy for deadwooding in trees. the folding blade makes it easier to be dragged up the tree. ) Thanks for getting back to me so quickly but i'll pass.
  16. If it's the Silky Longboy in reasonable nick i'll take that off your hands.
  17. Is that the Silky Longboy? What size are the trousers?
  18. Nice. 192T used for cutting up firewood, wrong saw, wrong application. My money is on it having been thrashed.
  19. Kilometers to Miles (km to miles) conversion calculator
