  1. i wish my wife would get the gravity of trying to sneak one of those pot pouri smelling tea bags in my cup instead of a proper cuppa!!! She says it would enhance my taste buds.............
  2. i'm sure there's a saw docotr website where u can find ur local saw doctor (who will obviosly sort the job out!) but i can't quite find the page i think i'm looking for, just search google for it and have a look i'm sure its there somewhere.......either that or the 2nd cup of tea hasn't yet stopped my brain dreaming!
  3. any good agricultural dealer who does round balers would be able to do a good job.
  4. I've put them in a single layer in the tub and noticed some of the acorns were shooting when i picked them up. The rest are just chucked in and see what happens. Thats for all the help, did think it should work, i will put some of the soil from where they came around them see if that helps!! Cheers Muchly:biggrin:
  5. exactly my thoughts!!! Lots of driving on dust and tarmac but no snow/ice!
  6. what do u lot reckon then? Wonder if there expensive or actually work? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XNrV2gTUOM&feature=fvwrel]snow chains - next generation (part one) - YouTube[/ame]
  7. Hi Right can anyone tell me if i'm barking mad planting a load of acorns/conkers/beech nuts/pine cones/sycamore seeds into some tubs and hoping they are going to grow so i can plant them in a few years? Many Thanks:biggrin:
  8. been through many a phase....... folk, dance, trance, acid house, hard house, rave, metal, hard rock, dubstep, oh and Claire Maguire is very high on the list...... and probably some more, but my favourite is still a good trance track with some good female vocal across it. Can't stand anything to do with a talent show.....all talentless IMO:sneaky2: But this has to be one of my all time fav's! [ame] [/ame]
  9. have used it twice, once with good success from a chap who just thought he could get away without paying me. Second time wasn't so good, discovered that not even courts can get some people to pay without it costing a small fortune. It ended up costing what the chap owed, but by then it was the principle of the job! Go for it, but it won't be quick or pleasant but sometimes u gotta do what ur principles make u do!
  10. Only problem with having a nurse as a wife is they don't worry too much about things so sometimes sympathy can a bit low on the ground ! The farm vet stitched me up after cutting my leg during a tb test, saved a wait in a&e and my kitchen chair has a lot less nasties than a&e!!!! Only problem is now every time he brings out a new student or colleague I have to yank me trouser leg up so he can demonstrate the versatility of his skills!
  11. To get the vin plate changed with dvla, it'll need to have a sva test with vosa. They'll give u a bit of paperwork and as usual in the world it will tick a box and that should make dvla's computer print the right v5 document for you.
  12. My mother in law (not dragon in law:-) ) uses a lot called ems Internet for her holiday cottage website and I think they promise to get her on google front page if u search the area for holiday cottage. But don't quote me cuz I'm no web page boffin, u can't make them with a mig or tig welder!!!!!!
  13. I don't mean to sound derogatory but if ur not sure on what mix goes where then do u know how to use the saw safely?
  14. where is it and how much u looking for it? It burns so its good enough to heat our house!!
  15. we use our big 180hp tractor and loader with a bucket on........better than our telehandler and more likely not to break down than the red french junk they call the worlds no. 1!!!!!
  16. As above, the oil you describe leaking is 'normal' and the problem lies with the pto brake band, these are tricky little blighters to get right, i would suggest your county is based on a 7610 rear end like you say. So getting the adjustment right is quite critical and i'm afraid without seeing it i couldn't tell you which is the right method as ford used several different variations which have little difference in working concept but different to setup. But a bit of head scratching and looking at it should work it out, they need to be surprisingly tight to prevent it rotating but not to tight it binds when running (the critical bit). Perhaps if u can get some pics on here i can see which it is! hope this helps!
  17. it was happening to me but it stopped doing it today!!! Don't u just love technology!
  18. they're gonna control the world soon....... every market every country!
  19. shame ur not closer, i'd take the lot off ur hands as it is by the grain trailer load! Goes into my log burner just as well as a bit with bark on it!! I'd say best bet was to sell it as joinery waste by just bagging it up as is or bulk delivery and explaining to the customer what it is? But i have no experience of selling wood!!
  20. Ur not wrong there!!! They've just built a new huge one in a town called yate nor too far from here, and apparently its got a hairdressers, beauty saloon, and costa coffee in it!!
  21. this is very interesting to me, having always done my own firewood off the farm, i'd never realised that there was a whole industry making and selling firewood, always thought there was a few supplying niche markets but not to the high level of what seems to be out there. Certaintly never thought you kiln dried firewood....... I wonder where it will all end up in years to come, a few large scale producers covering the country hauling wood miles, or stay the same as we are now?

    Hi

its the cheapest place to start and as u say u ain't lost much if it don't work!!!!
  23. MikeTM150

    Hi

gotta say a simple plate like the pictures above will be surprisingly good at transfer weight to the rear wheels and provide a very nimble light weight solution. Quad bike/timber trailer is not cheap.....highly desirable to knick aswell!!
  24. how many squids u looking for it?
  25. isn't that where they use tnt to vent the gas aquifers, which in america led to a town being poisoned by they're water supply being contaminated by shale gas extraction? Not that i have a problem if its the right town...... Am interested in this ditch hedge theory sounds like something to experiment with!
