  1. If you the words Western Hemlock to that you have my idea of hell!
  2. Well aren't you a bitter bugger. When you were at school was there drugs? Sex? Cyber bullying? I think a lot of people who moan about how easy everything is now had it easier themselves.
  3. I Believe I can Fly ( flight of the frenchies ). Free segment on Vimeo 4 mins 7 is fantastic, the whole bloody thing is fantastic!
  4. I Believe I can Fly ( flight of the frenchies ). Free segment on Vimeo Boom.
  5. People always talk about immigration as a new thing. It has been around since the dawn of time - Britain has always been a popular spot for Johnny Foreigner to come and work. No Daily Mail reading, BNP voting, hating oaf will be 100% "British" as he thinks he is.
  6. No one is born racist, it is learnt, and anything that can be learnt can be forgotten. However, to swear like that in front of children is despicable and unacceptable - she should be held to her actions. I honestly think people should have to have a license to have children sometimes!
  7. I hate people like that, I honestly do. They are far more damaging to the human race than anyone with different skin, speech, genitals, or sexual preferences. Somewhere in one of his excellent books (I think it is "God in search of man") Abraham Heschel said - “Racism is the worse threat to man. The most hatred for the fewest reason”.
  8. Epic, that song is so cool too.
  9. Climber? Groundsman? Brash rat? Surveyor? Also what experience you have, qualifications, tea making abilities, references etc....
  10. It's awful if you compare it to a 346, but pretty much anything in that range is. The 346 is the best 45-60cc saw I have ever used, including the mystical 254XP.
  11. I'm sure you are right, but do you know the actual bit of legislation? The only relevant thing I can find is the The Welfare of Animals (Transport) Order 1997 and I can't find it in there.
  12. That is the saddest thing I have ever seen posted on here. Some people really need to get out more.
  13. 30 & 31, then get a job. Do other tickets as you can afford and need them. If you are wanting forestry then windblown and medium trees will be an advantage, but in arb few people are going to let their green groundie fell anything "medium". Work hard, there is always something to do on the ground. If you smoke, ask first, and don't spend half a day rolling fags. Good luck
  14. Having spoken to three friends, all professional dog trainers, no-one has heard of that. It might be law, just unknown, but I doubt it.
  15. Really? Find that very hard to believe. Has anyone got the know how to find the law on it? I fear it might be one of those "all knives are illegal in public places" (actually had that said to me by a PC) laws...
  16. Think I am sorted now through a friend of a friend I am not looking at hunting sites, I have plenty of mates with them on their ground. I am looking for a woodland manager, who has boar on the ground and manages the wood for timber purposes. I have spoken to Martin before, very helpful and knowledgeable chap but I don't think this is his ball game Cheers fellas. Hows the season going Mark?
  17. I won't be buying from him as I get my pork from a lad I went to school with down the road, but all the luck in the world to him!
  18. By infested I mean has a resident population, I apologise for the use of the term, but I had just cracked out a 10k word draft, fuelled on Guinness.
  19. Paddy McCoy, an elderly Irish farmer, received a letter from the Department for Work & Pensions stating that they suspected he was not paying his employees the statutory minimum wage and they would send an inspector to interview them. On the appointed day, the inspector turned up. ... "Tell me about your staff," he asked Paddy. "Well," said Paddy, "there's the farm hand, I pay him £240 a week, and he has a free cottage. Then there's the housekeeper. She gets £190 a week, along with free board and lodging. There's also the half-wit. He works a 16 hour day, does 90% of the work, earns about £25 a week along with a bottle of whiskey and, as a special treat, occasionally gets to sleep with my wife." "That's disgraceful" said the inspector, "I need to interview the half-wit." "That'll be me then," said Paddy.
  20. They all do. I find it handy for just after you refuel, quick pump or two and you are away!
  21. Somewhere where there is current management in place is what I need. Can't wait that long Ralph, it's for a management plan I am putting together!
  22. Had one earlier today, haven't looked at it yet, and won't now.
  23. Thanks, but I don't think you can I am afraid. I'm looking for someone that has direct access to boar infested woodland. Thanks anyway!
  24. The very fact you are on here sets you apart from most council workers IMO
