  1. Obviously she is barking, if they find her she will get off!! but by the description, thats half of London. On the plus side if there is a plus side, he had mates with him & they would have had a first aid kit. If he was along he could well be dead now. A crazy world thats for sure
  2. I wish someone would shoot Cameron/Clegg Then we could all get on with living Rock on Guy Fawkes:thumbup1: As for pigs, looking at both sides as I know two people involved in this..... Wild boar. Lovely pigs in the wild but have to be culled or they would ruin everything eventually. One friend does the culling and one friend is very anti culling and raises money to help the wild boar. See there is no ideal world:001_tt2: And my mother was a butcher so I like pig:thumbup: on a plate
  3. A woman in her forties went to a plastic surgeon for a face-lift. The surgeon told her about a new procedure called "The KEY," where a small key is placed on the back of a woman's head and can be turned to tighten up her skin to produce the effect of a brand new face lift. Of course, the woman wanted "The Key." Over the course of the years, the woman tightened the key, and the effects were wonderful -- the woman remained young looking and vibrant. After fifteen years, the woman returned to the surgeon with two problems. "All these years, everything has been working just fine. I've had to turn the key and I've always loved the results. But now I've developed two annoying problems: First, I have these terrible bags under my eyes and the key won't get rid of them." The doctor looked at her closely and said, "Those aren't bags, those are your breasts." She said, "No point asking about the beard then..........."

  11. Great work:thumbup: what camera did you use
  12. it should run no problem, but same as mentioned above it would be cheaper using red!
  13. save short term and spend more in the long run. may as well buy from Jonsie and have it next day with all the backup, at least you can speak to them, they always reply to emails/calls and you wont end up with a grey import!!
  14. A nice frost out, cars are white and a lovely clear sky. I have my doubts on a hard winter, there are no berries about and after a very poor year what were on the hedge rows didnt last long. We got Redwings moving around taking any berries they can find and an influx of Waxwing because its been a poor season where they breed on the continent and berries have all gone there. Keep your eyes open and see what is happening around your way
  15. Yes all the way.
  16. It's not that bad, he is throwing in a gallon of fuel (it could be Aspen) looks like it been cutting blunt too
  17. your cat must have used up some lives playing with that one
  18. fishing rod handle here, striped all the foam off all round & cheaper to buy a new rod than the foam. The little buggers:sneaky2: Caught a rat last week after noticing an outside door had been nibbled over night, fen trap had him the following night:001_tt2:
  19. Looks good, at a price what ever happened to hand tools, you all been spoilt:001_tt2:
  20. Hi Splinters My son has one to carry his surf boards and camp in, he loves it and has no complaints. One thing to look for is a single open up door to shelter the back (didnt explain that very well but you know what I mean) Much better than two doors opening, he also has a side door which is handy for loading. Look around, plenty of good ones but if you want to know more I can ask him. VW hold their money but you wont get the same drive on slippery stuff as you would in a Landy Get diesel Good luck
  21. Ok what waste fuel, of course you use it all:001_smile: I dug out a petrol generator I had in the shed, it was filled full and oil changed before it want away and forgot about it, the intention at the time was to use it in a few days time but that never happened. My heart was telling me to drain the petrol (4 stroke Kawasaki engine) and oil and check it over before refilling and starting. But I thought with all this talk of modern petrol being so crap I wanted to see if it would at least start:blushing: First turned on the petrol tape, within seconds it was piss**g out of the carb, and stinking just like old fuel does. So off with the bowl and a quick squirt of carb cleaner down the fuel intake to bowl was all it needed to free the sticking needle. Back goes the bowl, on goes the tap and no leak:thumbup1: on with the choke, a pull of the starter and it fired and ran just like it should do, I was expecting it to stop but 40 seconds later it was still running, then it stopped:blushing: So changed the oil which is what I was going to do anyway, then emptied the fuel all 5L of it. Not a nice smell and just like Gardenkit says it stays with you, horrid stuff. Put half a gallon of fresh fuel in, tap on, choke on, first pull and away she purred for an hour:thumbup: Now what can I do with this stinking petrol thats in a bucket with a lid on, in the garden I must add.... safe:lol: At the same time I was sorting I came across a 1L bottle of Putoline 5 Mix, a synthetic two stroke competition oil. Must be about 15 years old and very very thick, in fact its very close to red jelly:sneaky2: I know you dont keep oil that long but no mineral oil I have ever seen has gone like this so could it be two stroke oil has a shelf life too, not only petrol This should give you something to think about over the weekend, answers on a postcard please
  22. always sad news but if they were drunk.... if the car was stolen.... Dont know if you remember a year or two ago, thieves got hit by a train while escaping down a main railway line on a quad loaded with goods.......... Good enough for the scum, the train driver should have a medal
  23. Spud, I think changing a plug goes back a long way to the old days when plugs would fail much more than they do these days. Remember everyone used to carry a plug spanner in their tool roll under the seat of their bike. Or was that only British bikes & me showing my age, the Japs were very good (at least the ones I had were) and didnt break down:thumbup: So many DIY mechanics would pull out a plug & were changed "before" they failed as part of a routine preventative maintenance, then would end up with spare plugs that are still serviceable so you keep just in case, and the little hoard grew:001_rolleyes: Personally I change a plug "too regular" and need to get out of the habit, not only is it costing me money but all the plugs replaced never get used again they just sit there waiting in the box ready to jump into the hole and do its job again. Mmmm sounds very familiar Spud you have it right, help me break the habit:001_tt2: I have never seen a plug fail in years but only use NGK.
