  1. I agree, but with todays technology, why carnt they go further and fit a 'black box' type of thing like they do in aircraft.
  2. Completly and utterly agree. If they made it easier i would have no hesitation in starting up with a 7.5t, they are a smart little vehicle and i think they are totally underated.
  3. For me, i like to unwind with a whiskey and a book, late at night, either in the garden or snugged up in front of fire, We all deserve the bit of 'me' time dont we.
  4. Dont know much about the grafter range, but i know that the 7.5t range are excellent value for money, and give many of the more favourable manufacturers a run for their money.
  5. how come your moving, long way to move, looks nice tho', know scarbro well.
  6. Nice timber, like the roller bed.
  7. Nice tidy bit of kit, loving the massey.
  8. Hi, can some one please explain the difference between makita and dolmar saws and which is the better alround saw for mainly logging work. I am looking in the 50cc catagory but carnt make my mind up. What are the spares like for both saws ? Pros and cons please. Thankyou.
  9. Bloody hell, hope you didnt get seriously injured matey, did the police find the culprit that caused the accident.
  10. Hey, that looks great, i take it 'shingles' is the name you give to the timber roof tiles.
  11. I'd be up for that. What about chainsaw carving on the disco !!!!!
  12. You dont need to buy a jointer, just get a biscuit cutter for a router, there cheap enough, and do the same job, as jammydodger said, if jointing large boards then make grooves down the boards and use ply as the 'sandwich filler'. If you are furniture making then i would use dowel joints, but you still carnt beat M & T joints in joinery.
  13. I've never stood for that saying, a computer does nothing until it is programed to do something. In fact i hate that saying so much, that if i'm having problems and they quote that line to me, then all hell breaks loose. As far as i'm concerned its a cop out for human error.
  14. ' To pee or not to pee' Daft argument in my mind. Dont know about climbing, but i do know we have a female labourer on the building site where i'm renovating an old farm house. She will work any of the guys under the table ' including me', she will lift, carry, help, clean, and anything else you ask her to do, she is pleasant, hardworking and always with a smile. We dont think about the gender or anything else, she's a valuble part of the team as far as we are concerned. Her pink ppe does make her stand out tho.
  15. What is the Makita equivalent of this saw and are they just as good. Thanks. I'm wanting one that will take both a 14/15 inch bar and also a 18 inch bar if needs be. Thanks.
  16. I have a big maglite torch under the bed, and not afraid to use it, have chased some hoodlum with it before, when they broke into neighbors garage.
  17. Citroen, all the way. Although mine is an old defunct one, it is totally reliable, go anywhere, do all that is asked and more, carnt fault it. Would defo buy another when needs must.
  18. Sorry for you matey, i take my dog with me as much as poss, but she is now blind and stays in the van. I think it is now a comfort for her to be in the van as she knows shes safe in there and near me, if you get my meaning.
