  3. What is the Makita equivalent of this saw and are they just as good. Thanks. I'm wanting one that will take both a 14/15 inch bar and also a 18 inch bar if needs be. Thanks.
  4. I have a big maglite torch under the bed, and not afraid to use it, have chased some hoodlum with it before, when they broke into neighbors garage.

  6. Nice one chappies !!
  7. Sorry for you matey, i take my dog with me as much as poss, but she is now blind and stays in the van. I think it is now a comfort for her to be in the van as she knows shes safe in there and near me, if you get my meaning.

  11. Looks a tidy piece of kit, what tractor are you using to pull it?
  12. Talk about person of few words ,LOL I think your best bet would be to scour the mags, such as ' tractor and machinery ', you will find a vast aray of things in there. Instead of buying another vehicle, if it was me i'd go for the trailer option every time. Nice looking case you got there anyway.
  13. Thats interesting, never heard of no records required if you keep within 25 mile, is that for 7.5t and above, how do you go about convincing the authorities of this, do you still need proper 'o' licence. cheers.
  14. have a think about a citroen c15. They are cheap as chips, economical, reliable, etc. Ok they are an old design, but so are escorts. Prefer the citroen any day.
  15. why, why, why !!!!!
  16. Thats real nice, keep thinking about getting into milling, seeing what everyone else does with them makes me quite keen to do it.
  17. Makita all the way, much better than the rest, for a full all round package. But incidently i have 2 drivers made by a german firm called fein, these are also well made, altho a tad heavey.
  18. Thanks wired, it would be for use as hire and reward. I sometimes drive for an agency and they supply drivers to a poultry and meat supplier, they keep asking me if i fancy it, but i know that you need the qualification, i just carnt seem to find anyone that does it.
  19. Dont know much about mogs, but i do know i saw a white one heading north towards sheffield on the M1 yesterday about 07:30. And he wernt hanging about either.
  20. I once got pulled by a copper in that layby, doing about 45mph at the time. Got let off with massive bollicking.
  21. Hi, just a small query, has anyone had experience of doing the cpc in livestock transportation exam. All i know is that to move certain livestock you have to hold a certain certificate. Has anyone done it and also does anyone know who does the courses, preferably in yorkshire. thanks.
  22. I live close to sprotbrough, and i agree, 90 mph is just asking for something to go wrong, did he do 90 over the little bridge outside the school, if he did, bet he flew rest of journey.
  23. Well put it this way, i like walking in woodlands, i like working in woodlands, i like the wood the forest provides to keep me warm on a night, and i like using the wood the forest provides as thats the way i earn my money, to enable me to feed my family.
  24. Just what i was thinking ( and looking forward to )
