  1. Glad this thread came along, i too want to update my phone. I currently have the samsung B2200 ?,( had it 2 yrs now ) its been ideal, so an updated version of this, is the one i would go for.
  2. I'm well jealous, how many miles do you reckon the engine will be good for.
  3. I wish she was pm now. I'm from a strong mining community and saw first hand the devastation caused by the pit closures, the rioting, the thuggery of the met police up here. The pride of the miners when they went back to work. But if you speak honestly to the old miners now (as i do daily ) they will tell you it should never of happened. Yes my area has gone downhill since, BUT the air is a lot cleaner, there are more small units to rent for small businesses, yes there are call centres and distribution centres, but these have created work. She did good as well as bad. Just leave her alone and let her be.
  4. This is just getting a bit tedious now. If you have permission to collect the deadwood, why do you have to go for it at 4am. Why dont you just buy a cheapo saw to carry out your deads instead of hire / borrowing one. Are you trained to use a saw/ ppe etc Or as someone else said, are you a thief out on the pinch.
  5. I wouldn't even think about wanting to run just yet. I keep changing the style and shape of mine depending on what people want. Nowadays i ask what size people are wanting and make it to their requirements and price accordingly. I make all my stuff in my garage, so i only make things to order now. Wish i could expand, but have no where to expand into. Keep meaning to enquire about workshop rates but as its only a hobby i keep putting it off.
  6. Glad marquez was in there chucking it about, rossi was flying, but for me it was just a case of same old same old.
  7. I'll be watching, but prefer F1 now.
  8. Must admit i like the blood still to be dripping off mine when it hits my plate.
  9. So do you want the use of some else's gear, so if you run into trouble, its not your gear you lose. Why all the secrecy.
  10. Normally i use ply, top and bottom and tongue and groove for sides and back, t & g door to sleep compartment and a frame and mesh door on run side. Just wondered if any body used any thing else. And i'm crap at pricing jobs like these. Them in pet shops look like they last a month at most and cost a fortune, yet when i mention a half decent price, people tend to run to pet shop.
  11. I love my allotment, just wish i could spend more time on it. This year my dad is sharing it with me due to him getting on a bit, so instead of him struggling with his own and me not managing mine properly it suits us both. We only grow standard stuff but thoroughly enjoy it. my dad likes to grow chrysanths , and i like to grow sweet peas, so plenty of colour this year.
  12. Hi All Been asked to make a few rabbit hutches and runs, what does everyone make them out of, how big and more importantly how much to charge. Thanks in advance Harvey.
  13. This sounds very dodgy. Got to ask why the secrecy.
  14. interesting ! How are you supposed to find this info out, if they dont tell you! If i take away any offcuts of timber away from a joinery job, does this mean i need a license as well
  15. What about a makita top handle instead.
  16. I just bought a husky 135, just before xmas, its not trio brake, but it is a nice little saw for logging. Just did my cs30 with it.
  17. jon, have a look in machine mart, i think they do something around the £100 quid mark.
  18. Wow, that place looks picturesk, where is it ?
  19. Why not have a look at the makita range. Bit cheaper than the orange two.
  20. Put your wages up man. Surely if you contract to one person all the time, then by rights you should be deemed as employed.
  21. Any one do tai-chi, i've fancied doing this for a while now.
  22. Too true, these days as well as proving your a qualified tradesman, you now need add on's like cscs, 1st aid, asbestos awareness, where the hell will it end. I'm quite happy making gates, animal houses etc in my garage if i could earn enough.
