  1. If your in a Hobby caravan when it’s raining it sounds like your in a deep fat fryer, v thin ali!
  2. The wiring was a bit dodgy on mine, glow plug only worked occasionally, just used to put a wire from the battery positive straight in to the plug for 5 seconds and it worked fine!

True, but most people will always judge a book by its cover, coming from an eco warrior/new age traveller background myself I know full well if I still had a face full of piercings,dreads and a stripy jumper with holes in I wouldnt get 20% of the jobs I quote. Sad but true. Plus facial piercings and dead leyllandi twigs don’t mix well.

  6. Yeah, they put it up £6 pm last year when I hit 40!
  7. I do, £58 pm, but starts paying out straight away £1200 pm.
  8. Buy a grinder, I found customer s prefer a one stop service rather than my mate will be over next week to grind, you have control of the job/clear up and your reputation!

  14. Think a lot of it’s psychological as well, I’m happiest climbing because on my jobs 9/10 of the time we rock up, bosh the job out, on the way home 2 ish mostly. Nothing depresses me more than turning up at a weeks worth of hand cutting with no end in sight!

  17. Cherry picker and a crane save so much work, would have been rubbish doing that on spikes and rigging it all down
