  1. You know that, everyone will be jumping on the tree surgery wagon (if there’s anyone not on it already, judging by the amount round here!). Combine that with customer s waiting till its been dead for 3 years and it’s a recipe for disaster, IME you don’t fuck about with dead Ash, but there will be plenty who will chasing a quick buck.
  2. Just glad she didn’t copy and paste my browsing history!?
  3. You can have this lot for £600, Taunton
  4. Just had a look at rice paddy tyres, serious tread!
  5. Ok, I’m clearly outgunned on tree science here, but I wouldn’t think it unreasonable to hope a couple of meters could be removed from the ends of a branch that if/when it fails will cause damage to both the tree and property. Anyway I don’t want to get into an online bun fight on the home owners advice section so I’m out.
  6. Apart from a walk in Skeggie, it’s a method of supporting limbs, google cobra bracing for the full low down
  7. Bracing would also be appropriate
  8. Hi, I would say that lowest branch could definitely do with some weight reduction! It’s a poor union although it seems to be putting some decent reactive growth on the underside. It wouldn’t be ideal to remove it entirely as would leave a very large wound in an already compromised area. I’m surprised the TO won’t let you take 2 meters or so off!
  9. No, but it looks ace! Can’t imagine it’d lift a lot at full extension
  10. Turns out I’d massively underpriced and they weren’t happy with my revised quote! So not happening now, if I find out who’s doing it will pass your details on. Cheers
  11. We are moving our log cabin on to our land, will be off grid electricity wise, about 10,000 to install a solar power system that will give us continuous power (batteries/inverter etc) to run the place. Should pay for itself in 7/8 years.
  12. I’ve just won a very large job just outside Dorchester, will have a large amount of Oak and Beech arb wood (ie not cord!) anyone interested? Don’t want anything for it, just want it gone, will be early Jan. cheers
  13. Really?! That’s unheard of isn’t it? No wonder they’re throwing there Camembert out the pram!
  14. You’ve got to admire em for it, the complete apathy/acceptance in this country is worrying.
  15. You know that, they’ll raise the pension age again next year.....

    New mewp

Tbh max I’ll probably need out of it is 5/6 ton, shouldn’t be too daunting for it. ( I might actually get shot of it, bought on a bit of a whim cos it’s really good fun tanking about in it, but in reality a new stump grinders gonna earn me more! £6000 if anyone s interested!)
  17. We tend to load up and leave 730/45, as said, an hour in the morning is worth 2 in the afternoon! Generally job and knock so often done by 1 or 2. I don’t think much gets achieved after 3pm, that’s why I try and avoid day rates where possible.
  18. Most of mine have been blind luck and pure charisma!
  19. I’ve just ordered some Huel after trying some. Made me [emoji100] like a bastard though!
