  1. Sorry Ben, your messages are confusing. It would appear hardwood wholesale price is £90 whilst retail is £100; both collected from your yard??????
  2. Suggest you put this in the emplyment section, not vehicles.

Would that be the Hornady G2-1500??? These are my two. Will be looking for a Lee Enfield .303 in the future.

Ha ha my mate used both the electronic and beam "Just to check!" I'm loading powder with a Lee Auto Disc powder dispenser so it should through the same charge every time, seemed accurate enough when we set it up and checked ten rounds. These were my first ten .38 rounds just the other week!

    My passion

Whilst I have shot shotguns for 30 years I only got my FAC before Christmas and have bought a Uberti 1873 .38/.357 and a Marlin .22, both lever actions and have started reloading .38. Bought Lee gear and so far I've made 100 rounds and they've all gone bang when they're supposed to!! Haven't got any scales at the moment, what type do you use Nikk? Are electric ones any good? My mate who set my gear up had some but they started playing up and we had to revert to his RCBS beam scales.
  6. Dont tell me she shoots as well Difflock???
  7. Had my Ranger insured with Direct Line and was recovered with Ifor Williams trailer when I broke down. Now with Aviva and I'm sure they cover trailers as well. Courtesy vehicle is a Transit as they don't do pick ups.
  8. nice tool though, an near as nice as my 461 LWB gay wagen Van:001_tt2: Which we need to see more pics of Difflock!!!!
  9. Who wouldn't want one of these??? https://expeditionportal.com/featured-vehicle-hema-79-series-land-cruiser/
  10. First lot of tickets bought Steve. The jacket I won four years ago is looking a bit worn so I could do with a new one!!
  11. There's a few around the north east I see on a regular basis including a one in camoflauge paint scheme. I saw this one a few weeks ago and somebody had gone in to the side of it at a junction - so at least the camoflauge works as the other driver obviously didnt see it!
  12. Im sure the handbook states not to drive with RFW engaged for long periods of time if you are not using four wheel drive.
  13. I know a friend of mine imports kiln dried from eastern Europe and when they arrive here and are unpacked they measure 5%. After sitting in his shed a few weeks awaiting delivery, that has risen to 12 to 15%. His normal seasoned logs always go out under 20% anyway. I think he recently had a customer said the kiln dried were up to 22% after being stored in their brick built outhouse for a week or two.
  14. Husqvarna dealers are David Dixon in Hexham and Robson and Cowan at Scots Gap. There's a guy at Consett called Jeff Metcalfe 07595437720 who is independant but he is a chainsaw guru and can repair and supply parts and consumables. Good bloke.
  15. I remember watching the Eddie Stobbart series a few years ago and Mr stobbart was test driving a new Range Rover. It started bleeping when he got out as he left the keys in. "Well you can disable that for a start" he said. Salesman replied "No we cant". "Ah well, back to BMW for an X5 then" replied Mr Stobbart. "We'll get it sorted as soon as" replied the salesman!!!
  16. Great post Drjim and welcome to Arbtalk. The Gransfors splitting maul is a fantastic tool of choice, I've had mine for about 5 years now and love it. They have gone up in price quite a bit but Greenman Bushcraft seem cheapest, but out of stock! Gransfors Splitting Maul | Cutting | Greenman Bushcraft
  17. Used Oregon, Sarp and Stihl last year when doing some felling and both my friend and I noticed the Stihl was better, kept sharper longer.
  18. Yeah, been a few interested but its 3 phase which put them off.
  19. Good kindling machine for sale at Morpeth
  20. I have had a Palax KS35 Ergo firewood processor for 6 years now and always used Oregon bars and chains. I started using the last new bar about 2 months ago and a few weeks ago started having problems cutting. After much searching, took chain and bar off only to find the bar excessively worn. On black Friday received email from FR Jones with their latest deals so ordered a Husqvarna bar and two chains. Fitted these this week and the difference is extremely noticeable. Not only is it cutting much better that it ever has with a new Oregon bar and new chain but it is also much much quieter. So impressed I've just ordered another set!
  21. Sounds an interesting project. i have enjoyed watching Timberkings on tv recently. Just picking up on what you have said there, have you telephoned these companies? When i was looking into equipment earlier in the year, I emailed 6 companies through their contact page on their web sites and only one replied! I telephoned some that didnt and they just said probably went in their spam!! And they wonder why industry suffers!!! Good luck with the project.
  22. Interesting Unimog in auction. https://www.bidspotter.co.uk/en-gb/auction-catalogues/gwa-auctioneers/catalogue-id-gw10114/lot-5bb518a3-a102-4df0-9063-a6c900b7ce77
