We at last Agree on one thing:thumbup1: I was working in Spain many years ago, when I got back to the UK my bank card would not work, some bloke from Manchester paid my train fair home. He also knew he would not see me again. Kindness of the first degree!

Now, I deal with all sorts of people. But this situation always catches me on the hop. Mrs Egg has got a local bloke (that we don't know, that well) to get us some scaffold boards (for raised veg beds). I asked him what I owed him today, he said they are old boards that we can have FOC. I gave him £20 for a drink. How do you deal with these sort of things?

You might just have hit the nail on the head! I'm the one who the mossie bite! They never go after Mrs Egg. She does enjoy a glass or two of Gin and Tonic before bed time.

I'm not being sarcastic here. But, did you think that a processor/ saw bench,splitter combo would stack the logs in bulk bags?

When you say you stacked the wood loosely, did you stack them or throw them in the wood store !

It's that customer/supplier thing. You got what you paid for Bowlander! (apart from the conny) You surely did not expect 1 cube off neatly stacked logs!? Processing logs is hard tiresome work, as you know.
