I really don't get this. There are loads of lads on here who are looking for work. Someone grab a tent, chuck it in the back of ya motor and get ya self over there. I reckon there is a weeks work to be had here. Put the hours in, lets say ten a day. End of the week you've got six hundred quid. Ok you will have to pay to camp some where and feed ya self. But it's still a good few quid. Or is cutting and splitting logs below some people?

I closed down an old savings account that had not been used for years with Natwest. They also managed to shut down my current account at the same time. It took SIX weeks and many phone calls and visits to the bank to sort it out. To be fair it's the only problem that I have ever had with them and they compensated me to the tune of £1000. -

So it looks like the new part of the A14 around Cambridge will be a toll road. The talk is of a start date of 2016. What happens if the opposition win the next election, does the job still go ahead? Now in theory I don't mind paying tolls (no choice when I worked abroad), if the roads are well maintained and free flowing. I use the M6 toll every time I go that way. The only difference with the A14 toll is that the proposal is to do away with the original fly-over in Huntingdon. So we will have to pay the tolls or go through the towns and villages. Your thoughts please.

Looks like the car was parked in a super market car park? Not sure how things work these days but I had a new xr2 years ago. It got bumped into in a car park, there was CCTV footage of the vehicle that hit it. Never did get paid out.

I was once told that insurance companies consider them a modification, and you should make them aware that they are fitted. Don't know if its true or not.

You can insure anything ya want. What it costs is another thing. Where are you storing the wood?.........not the post code!.....is it stored in a secure yard/shed/barn.

Not where your looking, but worth considering IMO. Google log cabins, badwell ash. Some one will hopefully post a link. It's out of the way,enough, yet close enough to some really nice towns and villages.

I'm sure some of you make good money out of logs. I know Mendi plogs does. He makes a fortune! I can't see anyone making decent/good money if they have to buy in all their cordwood.
