  1. You have got way to much time on ya hands Pat!
  2. Pat! When we spoke on the phone earlier I laughed my thingys off. You seem to have come up with a great business plan! Hope it works out well for you! Your as mad as an hatter mate. See ya at Jonsies show.
  3. He sure as met him! They spent the weekend at my place at Easter!
  4. You want to send mendiplogs on here a pm. He does similar on a few woods. He's a millionaire:001_rolleyes:
  5. Not got a caravan anymore! But had quite a few over the years. My best advice would be, get a cheap and cheerful one to start with ( has long as its dry/ no damp). And see if you like it. Have you got some where to store it when your not using it?
  6. From my very limited research (what I have read on the web tonight) it seems to work by rejuvenating the "o" rings and gaskets. Rather than acting has an inhibitor. Unless I'm reading it wrong. Which would be nothing new!
  7. I would Johny. But I only know two people with steam cleaners. One is away working until the end of the month and the other bloke has got his in bits trying to repair it. Mrs egg is getting on about the spots of oil on the drive.
  8. Any one ever used this stuff? I've got a very small oil leak on my van, I'll be damned if I can work out where it is coming from. So I thought I would stick a can of Stop leak in it. Does it work?
  9. So he's just coming back from being lame? Can you get a race card for me to have a look at ahead of the day? What distance will he race over? And what time is he doing in trials?
  10. Has Jack got any form? Do you have a link to a website? I'll have a punt if he looks like a good bet.
  11. Silly me! I thought I had missed something:laugh1:
  12. Better late than never! Just stuck my donation in.
  13. When I did logs in bulk builders bags I fixed a Lucas swing lift to the back of my truck. Worked well.
  14. I think you will find you are wrong chap. I run all my own equipment. Over the last few months I have been doing a lot of subbing ( to a few different companies). But doing a lot for one in particular. They had their accountant in the week before last, he told them that they are sailing close to the wind with hmrc. We have had to change the way we are booking jobs in.
  15. I got caught out many years ago doing a private job on a Saturday. I was using my company van doing a private drainage job. At the time I was working for a big company that did not do the sort of job I was doing. That said when I went into work on the Monday my manager called me in to his office and asked me what I had been upto over the weekend. I knew there was something wrong so I told him about the private job. He already knew! His sister had told him that one of our vans was in her cul-de-sac all day Saturday. She had described me down to a tee:lol: Luckily for me my manager was a lad who used to work on the tools with me. Could have been a different story if he weren't a good lad.
  16. This thread reminds me of lots of threads that used to pop up on a farming forum I used to have a gander on a little while ago! A lot of the folks on there attitude to building regs/planning permission for barns/shed etc was "just fecking do it". Feck the council! That attitude stinks IMO.
  17. Go steady with it shavey! It's lethal stuff:laugh1: You could run ya truck on it.
  18. Nah, the van belongs to one of the biggest independent surfacing company's around these parts. When Mrs Egg pointed it out to him he was horrified. He's pulled it off the road until it has been sorted.
  19. Not yet Jon. Got to pick them up in the morning:thumbup1:
  20. Just brought 4 Goodyear Wrangler A/T/R 225/75/16. No damage or punctures 8.5mm of tread for £100 Jon. Just a three hour round journey to fetch them in the morning!
