  1. Brilliant advice Stubby, I've just unloaded 300 rolls, can't get in me box now...
  2. I'm sill not sure if Jack wants £250 for it, or he's willing to pay £250 to get it away. Am I missing something?
  3. Don't take my word for it. You will need to zoom in.
  4. Government money, what's that?
  5. Coming from a Sailor, back in the barrel boy.
  6. Anyone know the fella that runs this company, nothing at all sinister, could just do with speaking to him direct rather than speaking to some lady in an office miles away. I'm fairly sure he was/is a member here.
  7. Don't talk nonsense, it was a plug, SEO post for your business, you can't kid a kidder.
  8. We weren't talking about trades it's using sites like check a trade. £600/week/£120/day. I'm glad I'm in the shit.
  9. Les, dip in your pocket to sort Jack out if it doesn't work. Give it a wizz, I ask ya.
  10. Poor isn't a bad thing, it concentrates the mind, especially if you've got a house/family to keep. I don't do much of my own work, when I do I go in high, if the client doesn't want it I'll kick about the yard, horses for courses has ever.
  11. There are stacks or piss takers out there, or they are running a bad business, I sub into a company that's going through major change, the new boss man said, "I'm not paying him that", the old boss man broke it down for him, guess what, I'm cheaper than having someone on the books.
  12. You know what I meant, the money could be invested elsewhere. He's set his wife up anyway, They sold a big pitch, and bought two smaller houses, one is home the other up t'north on the coast near to their son. Knowing the ol' boy most of his tut will be under the bed, like yours.
  13. I do try to only use small words so you can keep up, like. back to my old mate, there's no shortage of money, but he doesn't want his wife hoarding crap, (his words) when it could be money in the bank. There are a few classic American cars to go, don't ask me what make/model they are, I struggle to indentify English motors.
  14. Perhaps because farming always has, since the last world war, and there is stacks of people with land that really need to be subsidised. on the other hand...
  15. No, the graphics aren't optional if you need to prove a self build is a motor home, It's a van until you can prove different, what you've got is a converted van, full stop. like I said, show us the V5 when it's been changed.
  16. Yep, my 7.5t is a converted commercial van, on the V5 it's a motor Caravan. That van of Muttley's will never get passed as a day van, never mind a motor Caravan. I'm sure there are better sources of information but this came up first. It must look like a Motorhome. DIY - Self Build Campervan Insurance and Day Van Insurance WWW.CARAVANWISE.CO.UK DIY motorhome and DIY campervan and Day Van insurance UK. Get an instant self build campervan insurance QUOTE...
  17. Nope, you can tell the insurance company it's a day van, but if you have to claim it will be worth nothing. To be a day van it must look like a Motorhome from the outside, along with bed and fixed, but movable table. It's a van you've converted, nothing more, nothing less. Looks tidy, but it's a van for insurance purposes.
  18. Looks tidy, if you get it passed as a motor caravan could you post a photo of the V5. I presume that is a three n half ton van? If so, with all that gear, wood panaling, full water tank, fuel tank, you are well over weight. It's not just you, look on the Motorhome/camper forums, most of the manufactures vans come out of the factories not fit for purpose. still, a nice looking bus.
  19. Asking for a friend who hasn't got long left and wants to cash in everything he's got to leave to his wife, it's mainly that awful, but heavy chains, bracelets that some blokes wore in the 80's. We know he could take it to the jewellers that buy, but they want 15-20% on the sale, or its scrap money, anyone got any other ideas? For scrap it would make about £15k. All this gold is legit, recipts from where they were purchased will be provided.
  20. Economic down turn, good luck with that. I've got a little stack of money, trying to get a house with a bit of ground around here...
  21. Go over to their factory when they have an open day, it's an eye opener. Free tea, coffee, lunch, and a bag of goodies. I expected it to to be a big place, but...
  22. Can I ask when you were last asked to show your tickets?, I can't remember the last time I was asked for any apart from a bog standard cscs card to get on a construction site, that card is nonsense because it's the 'labourers' card that has no relevance to the trade I work in.
