  1. It's the selfishness that gets me, two weeks lock down wouldn't be good, but for the good of everyone in the country? I don't have elderly parents/grandparents but these are the people that will cop it first if what I've read is correct. Most of us, (not all) are very small businesses, two weeks off the tools wouldn't be a killer, coronavirus is.
  2. Yeah of course the government will pay our loss of income, just like when we have two weeks in Tenerife.
  3. Leave it out mate!.
  4. It's freezing out there, little dog sneaked in last night and wanted out this morning. It's bitter in that wind.
  5. What makes you think I'm always in the pub, Les? I probably go to a pub once or twice a week.
  6. Lashed it down yesterday, rained off by lunch time, called it a week, it's been glorious today.... how's ya luck?
  7. Don't do one on me Prentice, I'm banking on you to show us how to fight the good fight.
  8. Nothing, the white would 'Water down' what red was in the tank, VOSA or whatever they are called now wouldn't take it as a positive reading.
  9. Fixed that for you. Les.
  10. Mouthpiece for kids!, are those the same kids who are bankrolling her?
  11. I've used those Tsurumi pumps when the customers don't want to pay the price of a replacement Ebara, they work well, and they're a like for like swap. Yeah, I hear what you say about pressure , it's not unusual to get less pressure for more flow, or t'other way round. I presume the white pipe is the mains in, and there's a stopcock in the IBC?
  12. Take the covers off so you can get at the water inlet, attach hose pipe to it and turn outside tap on to force water through the pump, while the tap is still running pull the trigger on the lance, reassemble and try it again, sounds like there could be and air leak, possibly on the in take side of the pump. Another thought, are you running it on a long extension lead?
  13. That high head you have is some machine 100l/min is 22 gallons/min, that's some flow.
  14. That's 2,200 psi (roughly) @ 13l/min, depends what you want the machine for, if it's for cleaning cars/vans/trucks it would be ok, if you intend cleaning your patio/driveway you'll be there for the rest of your life. Flow beats pressure hands down for most cleaning jobs.
  15. Second Adrian Flux, they were one of the only brokers that would cover my converted living box. Funny this should come up today, I pm'd @billpierce, last night to ask who he's insured converted boxes with in the past because Adrian Flux have sent my renewal and it's nearly hundred quid more than last year. Don't know if Flux are any good, never had a claim.
  16. I don't know the answer to your question, and wouldn't worry about what's powering the pump, what's more important is flow rate. Will your water pressure from the main give you enough flow to give you the max out of the machine? My machine goes at 32l/min @ 3000/psi. My pressure washing starts Monday, I'll turn up with 500 litres on board and have to start filling as soon as I pull the trigger, and I still run out of water now n again.
  17. My mate Slippery Jim would get it through, so I'm told.?‍♂️
  18. What happened to the good ol' days, dash light came on ya stuck a bit of insulation tape over, job jobbed.
  19. No fly's on you, bud.
  20. Not my guess, I sent the picture to a mate, Part of an early projector? Please don't tell me he's right I've just had a fiver on him being wrong.
  21. I've no idea what it is, but as said that's a fair bit of workmanship, and that music stand is something else.
  22. Like those, what's relief carving?
  23. Another ickle cracker gand, I'm sure all will be well.
