  1. Keeping themselves in work, now that's initiative.
  2. Me too, a night on top of that would do me the power of good.
  3. I bought a new jacket yesterday, it was reduced from £240 to £50 due to it having a slight fault, apart from one arm being slightly longer than the other two I can't see anything wrong with it.
  4. My last place had the Stour behind it, fortunately there are flood/water meadows around the area. If the Stour goes into flood the flood gates open and flood the surrounding fields to save such things happening.
  5. Did the Teme burst it's banks or is that all storm water?
  6. Kin'ell Gary, where's that at?
  7. @AHPP, there's ya sale fella, get some pictures up.
  8. We had our fair share of those Paul, don't be a stranger if you're down this way.
  9. That's right, turned right at a no right turn junction, the coppers got me in the back of their car to show me the video, nothing dangerous, or due Care, I would have fought it if I had buckets full of money, due to the CPS evidence being rubbish.
  10. What year was it when me and you were coming up the A303 when that bus had a blow out in front of us? i believe plenty of cizzer had been consumed over the weekend.
  11. Sorry me old mate, was that 2013?
  12. You were there, cocker. That must be 7-8 years ago
  13. I'll tell you the story, plogs was selling a near new saw, Ian bought it, deal done, money changed hands after which I told Ian the saw was nicked (it wasn't), Ian went white and wanted his money back from plogs.
  14. Ask Ian if he's still got that wafty 660, he'll know what I mean.
  15. 13 years ago Persimmon's built 300 houses on a site like that in the next village over from where I used to live, they brought in thousands of ton of stone/gravel/top soil to raise the ground, they've never flooded... guess what happened upstream of the river Stour...
  16. It was a bit tongue in cheek.
  17. Recommendations please, I need about 20' of 6' high conifers taken down, chipped and stumps ground, all chip off site, near Sudbury, Suffolk. No pictures until Tuesday. Access is right next to the hedge. I can sort a tip site about 2 miles away. Anyone interested?
  18. It's an oldie, yet a goldie.
  19. Same, bud, never heard of her. RIP mind.
  20. And... don't forget it would be the end of our ever decreasing steel industry.
  21. Big Ben was wanted by some to mark the end of our relationship with the EU, Boris claimed it was going to cost half a million quid to refit the clanger thingy, yet it only cost £14k to remove it, allegedly. Go figure.
  22. Some of you might have seen this before but, it's something to try when you are bored on a wet and windy night. HOW SMART IS YOUR RIGHT FOOT? Just try this it will boggle your mind; you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but, you can't. It's pre-programmed in your brain! 1. Without anyone watching you and while sitting in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles. 2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction. I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you've not already done so.
  23. If the Chinese get HS2 built as quick as they've just built that new hospital over there they'll be done by a week on Thursday.
  24. If you go the VW route give me a call mate, I know a fella who buys/sells, and converts them, decent bloke to deal with.
