  1. Have you got a photo card licence bud, or is it still carved in stone?
  2. Boris and Carrie's first official wedding photograph.
  3. I guess it's the same around here, and in any trade. The only other truly independent drainage lad I know around here Rocks about in a new van, high end gear, me on the other hand... I rock up in an old Transit with a 12 year old machine and get the job done for very similar money. The difference is, he'll go out 24/7 on emergency work. Horses for courses I guess.
  4. Those that are spending that money on new trucks must be different than the vast majority of tree surgeons in this part of East Anglia who are running around in Transits 10+ years old.
  5. Each to their own, I wouldn't be spending £21k on a local workhorse unless I was doing it for tax reasons.
  6. If it's anything like the last 'proper' bike I rode it would dump her straight off the back. It belonged to a lad I used to work with, 'kin thing took off with me, I did ride it back a little more steady. Never been in a club, I did used to go down to the pub the local lads used to meet at occasionally for a beer and a chat, never rode out with them mind.
  7. Being a scooter rider I wouldn't know, I'd like to see him give it a fistful mind... the bike.
  8. £23k to cart chip about locally?, not on your nelly.
  9. For some reason it won't open here, I thought it was X above the ridge and 700mm from an opening, I stand to be corrected mind. What does it say?
  10. My mate Slippery Jim will have one in by the morning, what make/model would you like?...
  11. Last time I saw an arse like that it was pulling a stagecoach.
  12. Is this Topsham?
  13. My apologies, I misread it.
  14. If it's already been passed your neighbours are on a hiding to nothing, harsh but true. Someone had the nerve to buy it and sit on it for 10 years knowing it might never get passed for building, any of the neighbours could have done the same thing, to be fair.
  15. And someone has bought it and wants to build on it?
  16. I wish you wouldn't quote him, I've had him on ignore for years...
  17. Oh, I forgot to mention, that shared drain is the responsibility of the OP's. Water Authority if it's in England.
  18. That's why I'm thinking it's odd if the drain runs towards the road from that cover, would have to go through the BT. The drain could go under the BT infrastructure if the sewer is deep, what I don't understand is, why send the drain one way at the back of the houses only to return it to get on the sewer in the road.
  19. Spk fr yr sl, i cn jt abt gt it, bt oly jt.
  20. Yes, the cover in the second picture between the back of the BT box and the tree looks like a drain cover.
  21. Excuse the poor drawing, why would anyone do that with the drain when they could run it out into the road off the drive.
  22. He's way to smart for that, and I can't help with the tree. What puzzles me is the run of the drains, it doesn't make sense, or there is a buried manhole cover.
  23. Close, mush=mate. But this is our Les so it could mean anything.
  24. Freelancing on nights, when the site electrician gets here I'll be on my way back to my box.
  25. It would be easier for the masses here if it was in English, but I'm sure there is a translator app that could sort it.
