  1. Yes, I believe you are correct. I'm fairly sure Dytch and Rowbottom did pair up at one time?
  2. This wouldn't be until much later in the year, it depends how far you're booked up. I've got a mate who will help but he's like most others, packed out, and would only throw a day a week at it.
  3. I'll send you some plans for my next van build when I've sorted them, if you are interested?
  4. Born n breed in Stoke and had a boat in Penkridge, Dytch was a boat builder, the other John, who's surname evades me was a business man that handled the sales and set up the hire fleet.
  5. John Dytch was Dartline, he moved down the cut to Stourbridge in the mid nineties. Don't know if he's still about.
  6. Just simple answer will do Les, was the builders Collingwood's, if not who?
  7. You can usually access the hull to shift/add/remove ballast.
  8. I wouldn't think so, the only time I've been to Surrey is for work, that was a while back mind.
  9. Who was the boat builder of the widebeams Les?
  10. You in Keele! That's way to close to where I'm moving to, don't come back.
  11. Right side of the country, wrong end, unfortunately.
  12. I've just looked him up, still don't recognise him. Isn't ignorance bliss?
  13. Not quite Harrison Ford, we had Downton Abbey a few weeks ago. Not having a telly I had to ask a mate what Downton Abbey is🤷‍♂️ Film crews believed to be filming Downton Abbey movie spotted near Sudbury WWW.EADT.CO.UK
  14. All of those saying running a business from home is ok, would you want to see that lot plus a JCB Loadall parked over the road from your place, and the coming and going of lads each end of the day? I very much doubt it.
  15. Les and Khriss as a double act, they take some deciphering one at a time!
  16. I'd get away with it here, (probably), if I tried it on one of the main roads into the local market town I'd be on a hiding to nothing, (probably).
  17. You know you are running a commercial set up from home, it's nothing like a sparky, plumber or most other trades where one or two blokes get in a van and go to the job. If it was a house out of the way you would probably get away with it. Being on a busy road where everyone and his dog can see what's going on is another thing.
  18. That sort of answers your question, you've got two arb trucks a loadall, and lads who work for you parking around the corner, that sort of says you are running a business from a domestic property.
  19. @donnk as spoken, so it must be right. Where does the loadall go?
  20. No sympathy from me, he gets all he deserves.
  21. Unless you want to sell your property and potential buyers are put off because they think it's an eyesore.
  22. How's it car sharing if two or three lads have rocked up to a place of work to collect work vehicles?
  23. I bet they've never had that pulled on them before!
