  1. It's a bit like policing, everyone is for it until it's them are being policed.
  2. That's without the other bits like laundry and office space, even living in a truck😂deducted for accommodation when working away from home, how's that work when you live in a truck anyway🤷‍♂️
  3. I don't know where 40% came from above, I also don't know where a construction industry scheme comes into tree work. I'd guess some tree work on construction sites could fall under CIS?
  4. Yep, with 10 years experience, leading a team with those tickets warrants £16.50/hour imo. Wether he can get it is a different thing. Based on an 8 n half hour day.
  5. £140/day is £700/week top of his ticket plus holidays etc ain't bad money up north. That's where I'd want to be with the OP's experience and tickets.
  6. Seems to be the going rate, this website belongs to a member here although he's only a handful of posts. Sleepers - JPS Timber WWW.JPSTIMBER.CO.UK JPS Timber, based near Sudbury, Suffolk, supply new & reclaimed timber to both trade & private customers from...
  7. I think £160/day is strong on the books, but £100/day is taking the piss.
  8. £34 inc VAT yesterday.
  9. You forgot to mention its located on your head.
  10. No, I've better things to do with my money.
  11. Permanently if all goes to plan.
  12. Bang on, my nephew as just paid £6k over the asking price for his first house. The two houses he looked at before sold while him and his Mrs went away to think about it.
  13. Everyone should be on a water meter, using potable water in the garden should be a last resort, anyone would think it was on tap.
  14. That's a cracker, these are the same millionaire pricks that live in Islington and the likes that went door knocking in old industrial towns in the north telling people to support Corbyn.
  15. There's a massive lack of base vehicles and parts for vans, pickups and trucks. I'm a member of a Motorhome forum, people are ordering new vans atm that the converters/dealers are saying won't be available until the back end of 2022... and very few ever turned up on time before Covid.
  16. Leave it out will ya, I'm moving back your way before long.
  17. Not quite sure yet, I'm selling my truck and going back in a pile of bricks again. I'll PM you rather than take this thread of track.
  18. Keep up the good work mate, with a bit of luck I'll pick up a box full of veg when I pass your place in a few weeks. Oh, and if you could stock up on beer...
  19. Amateurs, no empty beer cans, no ripped up Rizla packet, no bank card and rolled up tenner on the table. Youth of today, fecking useless.
  20. No shagging, no beer and no drugs when you are young, glad I went into drainage.
  21. I have seen those, the ones on the A120 are like this.
  22. On the A120 in Essex there are signs warning people that horse drawn carriages may be on the road. Oddly enough they are only on one section which just happens to be near a camp.
  23. Trotting picture is a cracker, is it still big in parts of France? I used to go up to Norfolk to watch the trotting.
  24. Same here in this part of East Anglia, not much colour in the fields. Saying that, the back end of last year was so wet the lads in the yard here couldn't get on.
  25. Bare in mind I've lived in the Suffolk countryside for far to long... are these potable glory holes?
