If my yard was better and i had grandfather rights i'd deffinetly leave the 3.5t threshold! Think i'd have a good 4-5 k outlay for license etc before buying a wagon. Will see. Your doing the right thing i would say!

Ive seen your truck and chip box, its huge lol Do you still have it the red grafter is it?
  3. Sorry i should have elaborates more but didnt have time. I meant as in that people need to work and pull their weight. If a jobs for 2 for a day and ones not pulling their weight on phone etc all theyve done is come to clock in clock out. Yes it is the bosses problem if things dont go to plan or on timescale etc but the staff can be a variable in this situation. Just be willing to work, learn and have fun thats all id want That make sense now?
  4. No but if people read between the lines a few pages back you can see what people want from a member of staff, its nothing un reasonable. Some folk come to work and want paying at end of week weather its gone good bad or ugly. People need to earn the money
  5. First impressions count for everything when your wanting work. Work hard, leave ur fags and phone alone till snap time, use your common sense and don't wait to be told what to do, have a laugh get paid go home! Folk don't wanna work at all!!; Not a lot to ask to be fair and all thats needed

  11. Hi, Im just wondering who the secondhand firewood dealers are? Im not set on what type of machine but i will be set to a Budget. If you can point me in the right direction then great I just missed out on a palax combi 2 which would have most likley done my needs I dont billet, my arb wood comes back in 3-6 ft lengths up to 10" then rest is ringed up. I then split and leave to season. Current setup is too slow and time consuming. Piles getting bigger and want to rattle through it faster and more efficient. Many thanks

  14. I was hoping the new fuel housing with working plunger would keep the fuel pressure in the line? Maybe it just fills the filter an thats it? Surely the lift pump on way out? Or will an electric pump cover for that?
  15. No just a normal lift pump, aided by the primer on fuel filter housing. Im wonderig if its not keeping fuel pressure in system so uses a bit from top of fuel filter but doesnt pull through to keep it going?

Now the question is, do you have a waste carriers or did you say you didnt need one?
  18. My jensen chipper has been playing up for a while. It started before xmas It would splutter and revs would drop, so you have to return to idle and then try put revs back up again. I put it down to crap in inline filter. So i eventually the other month decided to take tank off and clean out, fit new fuel lines and inline filter. Mine is fitted with a fuel filter housing with primer on. This bust so i fit a new housing with primer and new fuel filter. So all is new. When it was colder it was playing up more, revs drop and splutter and starts to die off. At the moment you can get to site fire chipper up then start to chip and after a min or so it will start to die down Again and splutter etc so knock revs down to idle leave a min then back up and its usually fine for rest of day. I did consider diesel waxing as was fine when i put a gallon of white in one day to test it. I was also thinking it could be the lift pump on way out? I know if i connect fuel line direct to lift pump it struggles to pull fuel from tank to lift pump outlet. Any suggestions?
  19. Im just wondering if any of you are running greenteeth on your 252? I changed to yellow jackets from the old style teeth a while ago. I have greenteeth on another grinder and was thinking of getting pockets for the 252 and running greenteeth so can just buy one set of teeth etc Do people still run the same amount of teeth as theres quite a few on the 252 Cheers
  20. No chance i reckon. If you were to do it at 50-55 then you'd probably move it on, thats why i just sell as logs to domestics

  24. When takin the hedge trimmer head off my engine unit today (long reach trimmer) the plastic bush came out of the end of the tube and wont go back in? I'll get a new one if possible but how does it fit? Also my extendable pole pruner shaft siezed up today the little bearings inside the extendable shaft have seized solid.
