  6. You dont see any near 3k unless dog rough and needing lots of work and probabilly the petrol at that price
  7. What sort of money is an yr2000 entec tw 35/150 worth? 1050 hours recent new tow hitch, roller motor, new style side panels, recent new exhaust. 4 good sets of genuine blades that will have only had 1 or 2 sharpens. Newer style roller paddle control box. Anti stress works. Has new anvils not long ago I was thinking 4k as not many about at this price and theyre a good chipper

  9. bugger. I don't think people realise how much looking after these pesky logs need! very stressful
  10. why don't you get them plastic flaps / strips that can go on the main door?
  11. Im up in Lancashire I reverted back to a sheet, and propped the tin sheet against the logs but then not as much air flow so no good. If the sheet over laps down the front of the stack.... waste of time again as no airflow. I have a sheet i've been using its like an ex army tent.... i'll stop using this as its fibre made and i feel holds moisture in etc.... I've even considered moving yards and paying more for one with a building.. but really whats the point as pushes you further into logs than i want to go!
  12. Then your logs get frozen and lock in the moisture annoying!
  13. welcome to how its been for me for the last 4 years! it sucks! Tried sheets, tried fixed panel roofs. The rain usually comes from one side so expect some to get wet but protect the others. When stacking ibcs 2 high the rain comes off the edges of the roof sheets, hits the floor and wets the bottom crates.... Then the weather has been coming from the other side lately I hate logs at times
  14. Using an jensen a540 on a site clearance that could fire 30-40 foot!
  15. You do realise john and mark are midgets? Thats a 2ft dia tree Bet you were relieved when you could fell it john

  18. Hate ebay for selling. The saws probabilly been run for 4 hours or so so near mint. Will have a good think cheers
  19. Its a stihl carving bar, will take a picture cheers
  20. Excellent to read and look at! thanks Marcus and David
  21. Hi there, Last year i went out and bought a new ms211 and carving bar etc, think it was a 12" bar I've carved 4 or so owls with it etc but not done much. I don't feel i have the time for it as you have to spend a long time getting good at it and then finding a market. Also i've never been artistic but i saw my friend carving a while ago and it inspired me to have a go. Im not sure what to do yet but may have another go this year when weathers a bit better. If i did decide to sell what sort of money can i expect to get back for it? Done hardly anything as said but dont expect new prices! Many thanks Chris
