  5. do you work for wallbank?
  6. just tried the burnley website, and you get to the form and as you say you cannot type in at all, then a little bubble come's up saying "you cannot save text typed into these forms" daft, like someone said above, is there none at all in pdf format, don't know what it stands for but this is a format thay you should be able to type into..... think its a case of print out and write on it, or planning portal once you've hand written the form do people just scan it back in and then email it in?

  8. shame your so far away or you could check my 088 out, pressure check and tune, it's just sat at the bottom or a box where it can stay lol can you pm me with a price on pressure testing and a price for a tune also postage back etc for future reference please cheers, much appreciated, i don't know of anyone around here thats a good repair/check person
  9. jonny why not just get one of them sirius multi saver's? 50.00 1.5m long, not pulleys though just rings. i too am sick of having to go get my pulley and tape sling oout of the tree when finished working lol rather than pulling it down with your line lol
  10. yeah you've not done to well with the weather up there have you i was up in alberfeldy a few weeks back and it was cracking the flags though
  11. haha i knew i wasn't charging enough when i sell mine
  12. i admit that i do clip the strop to the chain brake, but i've had no ill effects from this. i have an older 200t for conifer topping etc that has a broken handle, but thats been battling on for a long time now and everythings ok with that saw Also i agree with the above coment on clipping your saw up to your harness!!! Its only a few quid extra for a strop with a ring built in, and its so simple to clip into an old krab or cari-tool on your harness, rather than it being dropped and swinging into the tree and getting stuck in forks when your trying to move around the tree
  13. So true
  14. this is what i also have
  15. The chute on my vermeer 620i was awsome! don't get me wrong it was a big one and took 2 people to take it off, but it had a wide oblong exit it could throw chip really far, which is more than what i can say for tw150
  16. My hs80 hedge trimmer didn't stop today when in the stop/off position
  17. looks like the tree is leaning? if so there is more pressure put on the compression side? And with death of cambium will this weaken the wood at the tensile side (where fungi is?) ? Would it be a reduction to counteract the above for a while (to retain for a little longer) but it will probabily have to be removed at some point? depending on safety risk? Please go easy on me lol only thinking out loud..... hama????
  18. Not on my bench but my little peugeot partner van's clutch has given up so i'll have to do that soonish Touch wood not had to do any saw repairs etc (lately)
  19. True Just thinking of how i can justify what mine is, think i'll say wood chip / mulch I've only just started to keep it as a friend lets me put it on some land There is some good in my pile.... just a lot of conifer and other stuff
  20. Woodchip, barkchip and mulch...... Surely these are all the same...maybe not mulch but to me wood chip and bark chip is the same. I've had a few people say they want bark chip... i say "Ooo you mean wood chip, i can supply this" and they say they want bark chip Also do you ever get peple who say "can i have some good stuff" Its all the same!! What do you all do with your chip? Do you class some to be good stuff and some rubbish? Do you mix it all in together? Conifer etc? Cheers all, put me out of my misery lol
  21. so this applies to both tpo and con area i know i'm justified in removing this one so just wanted to clarifie will be taking picks of the holes due to root plate movement, dead bark etc and any others i need Cheers
  22. Hi there, Quick querie/ conformation. Just been and looked at a pear tree that is in a conservation area, there is some deadwood in the tree, some bark falling off etc but worse of all there is a problem with the root plate, and this weather has made it considerabily worse. There has now developed a few holes in the ground around the base of the tree and the root plate has a lot of movement. As said this tree is in a conservation area, it is at risk of blocking a road, knocking a wall over, if it went the other way it would damage a porch/windows/roof and maybe telephone lines. To me i see this as imediate danger thus i am allowed to remove this tree straight away? Should i have to ring the council/inform them? If the winds get up more, i'd be surprised if it is still up in the morning, when i plan to remove....... What would happen if "a" tree was tpo'd but deemed dangerous, would works/removal still be allowed to be carried out without contacting the council? if said to be an imediate danger just after some clarification Cheers
  23. wonder if there's any place's left for the one day a week one bit late though can only try
  24. :001_smile:what is the base/starting course in arb? sorry to de rail is it a full time course your doing? Cheers
