  4. Wladimir Klitschko recorded the 50th knockout of his career as he retained his world heavyweight titles with a fourth-round stoppage of Jean-Marc Mormeck. The Ukrainian's WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight straps were never in any danger of changing hands during a thoroughly one-sided contest at the ESPIRIT Arena in Dusseldorf. Klitschko dominated his much smaller opponent from the off before finally putting him away with a crushing right-left combination just after the 10 minute mark. Mormeck, a former cruiserweight world champion who lost to David Haye in 2007, had said before the bout that he would enter the ring with no fear but never looked as if he believed he could pull off the upset. Instead Klitschko put on another dominant display to take his professional record to 57-3, with all but seven of those victories coming inside the distance. That fight lasted long! good job it wasnt pay per view!
  5. Had a BT line in a Robinia last week, the tree had grown round it, just top of the crown, been like it for a long time, wires were everywhere think the bark was holding it together but if we touch it and it breaks our fault so left alone, reported it to BT, now there problem but yeah they dont help.

  15. I live along the river waveney on the norfolk/suffolk border, and there has been many sightings etc this way, i think i have seen a cat out Rickinghall way in suffolk many years ago but was never sure... few weeks ago a sheep was found dead with not alot left up here along woodland etc, word spread it was a big cat that was the cause but how long was the sheep dead and what else had had a feed in the time it was found?? but yeah i think there are big cats out there, they do and have escaped from zoo's in the past but you would think there would be more concrete evidence they are about though?
  16. Evening all... Just thought id ask the question to see as the title of the thread says... What equipment do you have on your harness? when climbing? speaking to a climber i saw today, showed me his harness and is rammed! but with all the essesntial kit you would need, first aid kit, slings, spare Karabiners & maillons, climbing aids etc.. and it wasnt that heavy either to my surprise.. there was alot more stuff inc water bottle but you know.. so just thought id ask you guys { and girls } whats on your harness when you climb?
  17. agree with Mark.. try it first mate!
  18. good thread this, many times ive thought what was that etc etc... but got 2 personal stories, 1 i will keep to myself but the story i will share with you all and will be brief... i was only about 10 and my grandad had his 2nd heart attack and was in the norfolk and norwich hospital... my parents and nan at the time felt i was too young to experince seeing my grandad and to understand it all so i was protected from it. me and him were really close.. did nearly everything together where possible.. like he showed me how to change my 1st bike puncture etc etc... the doctors told my family that the attack was so strong it was just a matter of time befor he passed but he was awake but very ill. i remember walking with my mum and nan and saw my grandad in his hospital bed, my mum and nan hurryed me along, but he waved at me and wanted me to come across to him.. that never happened and that night he passed away... i remember waking up in the night and seeing my mum crying in the living room at home and she told me what had happened.. to this day i have wondered what he wanted to and was going to say.. the next night was the interesting part as i remember getin up in the night, going back to bed and seeing my grandad stand in my bedroom door way, waved and disapeared. to this day i have never told my mum or nan as i know how upset it would make them so i liked to keep it with just me { and now you guys! } but every now and then after work i'll call in at the church and make sure the grave is tidy etc etc... now the bit that made me realise it still happens.... october last year my wife told me she was pregnant! thought great as you do etc etc.. i was round my mums and just jokingly said, oh grandad can be my guardian angel for my first child... that night when the wife was at work the dog was inside barking, thought next door neighbour about etc etc.. but when i went through to the bedroom there was my wifes ok! magazine on the bed with the scan of our 8 week baby scan just under the OK! title logo... the magazine was left for a start on the floor and the scan picture was on the chest of draws because i remember putting then there clearing up! so sceptic may be but that took some getting my head round... with a smile though.. so who knows? and sorry about not keeping this brief gents.

  21. for me hes done the nation a favour, what a waste of space, i dont care that he has the best win % of all England managers, we have been awfull to watch, Harry could bring us a bit of passion and desire, so could mourinho, but i would rather see a passionate decent English manager than an overseas one for the national team... harry for England, then Jose will go to spurs in the summer...
  22. 7c! -2c here in norfolk where i am, had 8cm here over night... think i will come move up there! why the council just cant grit all estates on towns and villages so all keeps moving?? i know it costs money but makes you laugh when they grit the road 5meters from you but dont do other roads...
  23. well done to the above!!
