  1. Agree proper compression or end feed solder, just keep wire wool well away from the solder.
  2. Or use the correct "Green" olive to fit in a 22mm fitting to take a 3/4" pipe.

  13. Should have said try normal drive sprocket see if it cures your problems.
  14. Oiler should cope Ok with the combination you are running. Maybe because you are running a larger sprocket it effectively is giving less oil per m of chain, prob OK if you are felling as saw not always flat out and gets a chance to cool down recover. But ringing up dry ash continuously may just be too much., combination of ash known to gum up chains, bio oil (less lubricity) and less oil supply and increased chain speed = more heat/ wear. But I may be wrong in my summation.

  24. Also Acer, Norway maple was originally variegated and has now mainly reverted, does not affect foundations other than variegated normally less vigorous.
  25. Thought builders used it as firelighters to burn the kingspan offcut and plastic wrapping bonfire, or is it the other way round?
