  9. Or sell the lot that sits in your yard at the end of the year! I do a woodyard that supplies firewood do they turn up with tractors trailers, cut it, split it and extract it all from my yard over the winter. Yeah i could make more off doing it myself people tell me but when i think about it its too much work to really pay for itsef buy hand.

  19. i found its easier to put them on facebook then link the album to here i can upload 200 photos in 20mins that way.
  20. You nana im ain't got short term mem, mem, mem.......... where am i
  21. Catergorys i think is key. New people are less likely to return if they get smashed by the expert competitors as they're all in the same group. £65 does that include entry fees? if so not bad with the pasta night and such.
  22. There simples:001_tt2: john were are you woodfest photos then??
  23. Hmm i would have to say that maybe the problem is that everyone is in the same category? Well the times i've entered (a few years ago now) i found that it was the same people winning and although i enjoyed it there didn't seem to be anything for a novice competitor. Maybe give less expensive main prizes but have an expert category and a novice category would be a good way to introduce 'new blood' as such? I think cost hasn't got too much to do with it, were all skint but i think alot of people still go and get drunk in town. Im not worried about facillities as such, were tree workers not office workers a bit of cold water didn't hurt anyone. Cost wise well you charge what you need to really.
  24. john, 10mm prussik 5m length 15mm poly plumming pipe 2m length thread wire through end of prussik and feed through pipe tie knots at either end. tie fishermans knot in one end clip into harness an lift arms as high as possible then tie another fishermans knot. cut 1 bycicle inner tube in half secure about 1ft from first end an wrap away. secure ends with duck/insulating tape also secure in the middle. wrap insulating tape all the way to the ends. get a square spong cloth thingy tape in place. vet wrap (pinky stuff) over the lot and secure with insulating tape. 20 mins top to build. if in doubt see pic. hope this helps
  25. Ok after god knows how many hours i got this. I zoomed in so i could pick the line out clearly (except on the pole i just did straight lines. Thanks guys for all your help. I can finally use photoshop for something other than pressing the auto levels button:blushing:
