    Just wondering if you could give me some help with info on mobile bandsaws, im thinking of either going down the woodmizer or lucas mill route? Yours is a woodmizer? like whats the cost of the bandsaw blade, rough fuel consumption for a day, if you know anywhere the sells secondhand ones, known problems with associated with bandsaws etc, just basic things.

  4. I always get them shut off3 weeks is the normal turn around where i am and some times they turn up with the mog platform and a bit of money for a breakfast and its your to use. Oh and its free to get them to turn the lines off (East anglia) because it saves them having to pay out to get the lines cleared/ call out for repairs.

  16. In 10yrs i have only done 1 refsher course which is cs30/31 in 2008. I plan to do some more this year but wondered how many have or haven't so i post a simple poll just out of personal curiosity.

I wreaked a hiab (not the one beechwoods now got the other one in the sale), felled a tree onto a transit which drove through the site and barrier tape passed the crew, whilst i had finsihed wedging it (apparently my fault as i should of took a wedge out not be walking away as the tree was going) Fun times they were.....

  19. Depends on where you are tbh, networking, avaliabiltiy of work, competiton in the area, what kind of advertising is avaliable. tooo many variables to say. I take a very low wage from my buisness just enough to pay bills and put food on the table. Not even close to what i earned as a employed person.
