The plan is staged milling periods between two mills so we don't have tonnes of stuff to do all at once.

Throttle lock, lucky! Yeah monday-thursday is ok, Im probably going to bring the tree jack plus a few cameras. I Ordered the ripping chains yesterday and a heavy duty air filter for my 088.

I thought the guy doing the lowering was spot on very little shock in the line/tree shake. IMO better than the climber who was efficient at getting them down. Nice vids thanks for sharing.

2nd mill arrived yesterday. Job is only a couple of weeks off 13 mature trees to fell. I will post pics of the job as the milling goes along.

Go for it!!! you seem to have much more ticket than a lot of people entering/thinking of the trade. The only way to know if its for you is to try it. Education wise yours is better and higher than mine so i wouldn't worry about that too much. Good luck on what you decide.
