  5. All the time. Were good to each other too if they've got a job nearby my yard and need to dump some chip etc then im fine with that too and vice versa. Also if a job is too far for me to go to i pass it on to someone whos closer and get a pint off them later on in the year.

I would of guessed Phaeolus too (as i have seen it around that area) but the report i was shown only mention the excessive lean and odd decay pocket and the risk of failure in the sandy loam soil. Nothing about being hollow or any fungi (prob wasn't present at the time). Think i have saved someone some explaining if it fell over.

I based it on the report carried out by another consultant a year ago. But also checked for external cracks and weak decay unions that could pose a threat to the climber.

  11. 80ft ones a lot + planning + a crane to lift + Risk assesments. 40ft not as much. If you contact the guy chalky white who does the norfolk game fair he should be able to tell yo how he puts his up and what it costs. Other than that i know nothing else about setting them up. Hope this helps.

  23. You could get some extra cash weighing the metal in. Must be at least a £1.
  24. Treeworker is a good outfit and his prices are good too. Easton College is also good and the trainers there so either of these 2 and hopefully you shouldn't go too far wrong. On my felling course i remember there was a guy who was 56 he didn't fell as many trees as i young and dumb lads but just plodded along.
