  1. Heres one we cut off because i wanted it shorter other than that my lens wasn't good enough to get too close but if you look to the right of james there is some in the back.

  3. Interesting spec today. Client applied to fell the tree and the Broads Authority said NO but it could be reduced and coronet cut up. So heres before and after.
  4. Close.
  5. SWEET Harvester. I still remember the first time i saw a harvester do anything it was a demo at the Yorkshire show man Vs machine. Machine won and didn't even break into a sweat.
  6. That would be good, thanks for doing that.
  7. Or chick spotting:thumbup:
  8. I don't mean the ones that fit into the ear muff or everyday use just when its required like working with a crane driver. 99% of the time normal day to day shouting will do but recently its been hard to shout and hear due to traffic and obstructions in the area. Just a seperate system that you can put on when needed and back in the office when not.
  9. In Norfolk most farm landowner near me use a company who has a harvester and forwarder as its much more cost effective in the long run. A lot of the others get work done for peanuts as there are a few NPTC/Lantra training companies that do thining as part of the cs31,32 courses and they work through a good few woods a year. Just how i've seen it to be honest. Im sure the works there but just giving you a little heads up.
  10. 1st and only time in 10yrs i thought ah DOMINO! Its normally afterwards when i've dropped them out one by one i think i could of done it:blushing:
  11. Has anyone? As im thinking of buying a pair (waterproof ones not spalsh proof) and using a cobra mic system for when i need to communicate with the climber on very busy roads, crane jobs, etc. The cost will be massively cheaper than the bluetooth system which is one main reason im thinking of this. So has anyone got any recommendations?
  12. OOOOHHHH Yes.
  13. Just 2 photos i snapshot'd from the head cam (sorry about the rubbish quality)
  14. Really like it:thumbup:
  15. wow! Thats a big poplar. Nice work.
  16. ok, Material - Canvis Weight - 12oz Lead - Plastic coated sealed withing a hard rubber within a canvis bag Steel - Only the thrown ring attachment Rubber - Maybe if i get lucky, normal size and ribbed for her pleasure Brand - Harrison Rocket Spent bags - Bin probably end up in landfill better more usefull - nothing it does exactly what it need too. lead in most - NO some have other compounds. lasting - HR no 5yrs used most days, buckingham one 3yrs going strong Damage - only pride when i can't get the limb i want to. Do you throw - duh yes as i prob wouldn't be able to answer these questions preferred access - mewp. Now answer my questions Have you invented a product? Does it come in different weights? Whats it made of? How long does it last? Damage caused? Spent treepedos go? Are they popular? Whats the cost? Are they safer than a throw bag (as they have canvis on the outside) I look forward to your reply.
  17. Doh!!!. But i gave my honest opinion maybe he should of said guys i've made a product it doesn't have any low health risk (lead) other than its made of metal. . What do you think? 1st five people to pm will get a free one to test and give feed back. Thats how i'd do it but then again im still yet to invent a product.
  18. Really is it as dangerous as crossing the road and getting hit by a car? I imagine statisticly there about the same. Low quantaies it will be fine if your bag ruptures you can normally see the dust wet or dry. So bag it, cut the line and dispose of it. I don't think anyone has invented a better product yet there was a metal a treepedo thing but i think thats much more dangerous than a 12oz throw bag.
  19. One Word SWEET! Credit to you and Lisa really all the hard work you put into Woodfest and The APF looks like its going to be a good year.
  20. Think id rather go for that one, makes me feel really happy that i got my 088 for £500 and is in very good condition.
