  1. Would of been if the platform company hadn't cancelled the hire due to the weather. On the plus side i don't have to go out in the snow till wednesday.
  2. Some people. I'll never forget the tree i planted. Wen't back to water, re mulch and adjust ties. Gone! ripped out and they had even put some of the cheap bitmac stuff in the planting pit. Makes me so angry that people vandalise trees because they are small and whippy and don't look like its going to be a big tree.
  3. When YOU decide its not safe, common sense really:001_tongue: don't let a boss in a nice warm office make you feel you should be taking risks because he said it looks ok. I don't work in the snow if i have the choice hides hholes, ice, ponds. The last 2 times stupid drivers have crashed into me. Didn't mind as it was my old hilux but don't want the transit hit by anything.
  4. Loving the digger there!! Wish i could justify one.
  5. The simple trick to get round this is find the song your thinking of using type it in youtube and if it has lots of copies on there by things other than the official band then its OK to use. Although i would put your business name on most of the video because Google ads will pop another companies website link on the bottom.
  6. Really nice, were you using the stone statue in picture 3 as reference? If s i guess the next project is the monk? Good work.

    oops!

    Thats was brilliant.
  8. And when you have a 20" kicking about its even better. Also if a nose sproket pops you can nick the bar chain off the other one to muddle your way to the end of the day rather than be going downstream without a paddle.

  10. You've just solved a long on going puzzle in my house. I moved recently and found one of these in my stuff, didn't have a clue what it was used for. I thought it could of been something to do with sking...guess not.
  11. I think its a crate of VB (Victoria Bitter) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wro7Ea9pf6U]YouTube - Motorized Beer Crate[/ame]
  12. You have to go where the work is. Thats the reality of the situation that you have discribed. Surley no work is worse than being £100-£150 better off a week. Just keep your ear to the ground in yorkshire and when something arises take it. We have to do what we have to do to survive. Best of luck Ian
  13. You'll regret selling it! Prices are going up and up. I'd keep it and run it every now and again. Is this the one you got from the Apf? Im sure i read something in another thread?? If so even more reason to keep it for that price. 441? 70cc? I use a 372xp all day for pretty much most things. Seems like a good powered groundsaw.
  14. Nice idea that.
  15. Cheers for that Andy i might just take a trip to a couple of horse box makers.
  16. I've got to do the chip box on my truck and have just read this thread as its still got wooden sides which look tatty. Which one on the list should you use??? It looks much better and lighter than 2 layers of metal.
  17.
  18. Stunt-fell-tacular!!!!!!
  19. Big thud!!! The stump you've left looks really arty. I like it:thumbup1:
  20. Interaction Between Trees, Sensitive Clay Soils and Your Foundation | CMHC I found this today whilst doing some investigation on a conservatory which me thinks is going to have to come down and be re-built:thumbdown:. Anyho thought it explained the zone of influence very well.
  21. Soon you'll be getting yourself a head camera:biggrin:
  22. Rather not do the job than do it and not make any money. Its buisness, thats all client wants it cheap as chips and thats what hes gone for. I'd assume your competitor didn't know your quote if it was that much lower. Just people are trying to save as much as they can. Sucks tho.
