  3. Cheers Rob, I don't move fast tbh just got a few years under my belt so i can work my attack efficiently rather than get in a horrible position and struggle.
  4. Well the clients daughter is very fit so why would i want to leave quickly. Frosty will back me up:blushing:. Bleeding Canker was the cause, that or my vest top shocked it to death
  5. Im going to take a photo of that oak to see if the veteran work has worked. Also that giant dying oak we did in the wind has started to recover.
  6. Friction management is key i find more so than the hitch/spiderjack. Ropeguide/pulleysaver make it really easy to use. Limb walks are a dream now. Cameras Gopro hd hero:thumbup1:
  7. Those are the best coronet cuts i have ever seen.
  8. Guess your posh then Its the other side of Wymondham where theres a row of farm houses past toucan hire and that new estate with the big roundabout.
  9. Sadly wouldn't of fitted between the telephone wire and the hard drive:thumbdown:
  10. Ta Frosty was on the slr. Just import all the pictures into the movie maker and away i go. Always seem to spend a bit of time watching the clouds move.
  11. Thats on the GoPro time lapse 15 second shot mode:thumbup1:
  12. I just had them phone me up today!!!!! They've changed the tack a bit no tho its now a diary that you can be in. I just said i was already police approved with no convictions and they said ok and ended the call. Cheers for the post Billy!
  13. Here i am using it on a quick deadwood/spit branch job [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qRbucM0Kks]YouTube - ‪Cedar climb (my spiderjack setup)‬‏[/ame] I love it although i dont like it as much when taking stems down but other than that its awesome. P.S yes i know my crab would be better the other way round.
  14. Cut up into logs for the client. I,ve got some better pictures of the site it was in a really nice farm house in Wymondham (which is kind of posh).
  15. Removed a chestnut today the heat was quite nasty getting to 25 degrees so i was getting a nice vest tan today [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqlzBpylL6E]YouTube - ‪Dead Horse Chestnut Removal‬‏[/ame]
  16. Thats very cool
  17. Also i shoot in r4 or r5 depending on light r5 if its a bit duller as its gathers the most data. But it also makes the file huge.
  18. The extender bar to keep it up and away from the heat. I would mount it on the top handle grip too. It become addictive finding ways to place the camera.
  19. Not saying it wasn't a good shot:001_rolleyes: You even beat me to it, i was thinking of bolting it to the handle with the extender brackets. If im felling 1-5 seconds. Climbing 15-30 or crane work 60 seconds. Im still working out how to keep a camera safe in the stem when felling/sectioning:thumbup1:
  20. Well i can do 12's after a night on the rum, whiskey, strawberry beer, miller, stella and a bacon roll:biggrin: Impact training is the way to go, working on fast twitch muscles. Stepping off a platform with weight only about 40cm high should be sufficient. But mostly im going with working on your start (how quick you can get that second foot in) and jumping for the button. Technique comes with time, i could do 13-14 on sides then moved to toes and dropped right down to 16's and it took me two events of working on my technique to get me down to 12-13's. Hope this helps
  21. Nice idea that. The only thing i learnt was you need to move slower when doing things like this as it becomes blurry and can make people feel sick, (like what happened when i attached mine to my rigging line). Enjoy filming stuff and i recommend having a go with the time lapse modes too.
  22. I had mine go during winter. Take it to a mechanic and get a new one fitted the part only cost me £40.
  23. Ill stick a picture up next week for you with the paw plate.
  24. You can use them to build a floating anchor in the middle of the tree, speedline rigging plate. Mostly i use mine for balancing stem wood off or using it when dropping multiple branches. It is very quick if you have a few slings and whilst the first few bracnhes are haeding down you can strop up others so its ready to go again. Spider balancing i use the dmm oval hub which i prefer but you can easily achieve this with a petzl paw plate.
